Plenty of choice, helpful staff and in the middle of a major refurbishment. Work in progress… should look great when it’s finished.
The staff are very friendly but I have worked out about 20% of purchases result in me having to go back due to faults and missing products. Commonly the boxes have been resealed and are just missing bits. Edit..... Just took a grinder back with missing parts. The other one on the shelf also had missing parts. So now if I want a grinder I have to drive to St Helens!!! Avoid the mac allister power tools. They have been the main source of problems.
Recieved the wrong product on click and collect. The staff could not sort the issue out with a suitable resolution, weren't allowed to send on delivery as original was click and collect and the item was now out of stock. Thanks for the wasted effort and transport cost.
Visited B&Q speke and was genuinely impressed by the friendliness and service of the staff. I was helped by Marc, who was on the sheet wood saw cutting service. He was so helpful and gave me some advice in relation to taking out a trade card, due to the volume of materials I was buying. Whilst he was cutting the sheet wood, he advised me to go over to trade point and enquire about a membership. The team at the trade area were awesome. I was served by a young girl, which I can't remember her name and also met Tezza, who was a great advocate of the benefits associated with trade point. Genuinely blown away. Thank you to the Speke team!
B&Q is my favorite store because here I find almost everything I need when I want to decorate the house. The employees of this branch were helpful and I managed to buy everything I needed to redecorate the guest room. If some prices are higher than in other stores, I consider that I have saved time, which is very precious.
Staff would not honour mixed paint at advertised price...and then also didn't bother to take the wrong pricing off the shelf. 3 for 2 paint offer doesn't include white, banners and adverts could be clearer
The staff member was so helpful with the laminate flooring, he worked everything out for us and told us how much of everything we would need and also advised us on the differences of laminate styles and which is better to go for which is so helpful when it's a big investment.
It's a big store, really annoyed because the stock I was after online, you can only order instore. I checked on the website to find out which store had the stock. Three available, I get there, no stock. Not a good experience. Trying to find staff members was annoying. When I did find someone, they would palm me off with another staff member. Eventually, I met the right person to assist me with my inquiry. She was good.
