Proper, old-fashioned boozer. Friendly welcome from staff and local regulars. Huge outdoor seating area. Cozy indoors with plenty of room, deceptively so. Well kept craft ales.
Been calling here for many years when coming back from Southport love this little pub it’s a pity I don’t live closer
A traditional English village Pub, with character and charm. No food served anymore. Friendly bar staff and locals. Themed nights including Vinyl Thursday with traditional records played, where you can bring your own records I believe.
Popped in for a pint. Run of the mill choice of cask ales. However I did notice Theakston mild on tap, rare sight in the pubs I have been in over the last year.

Family run pub at the side of a canal, lovely food very popular and dog friendly, outside play area, big grass area and seating, a lot going on, Up dated 4-1-23 just enjoyed a catch up with some friends really lovely evening, such a relaxing place to come, one of our most visited pubs , hope it never changes, thank you
Good old fashioned pub. No food served just crisps and nuts. Good relaxed atmosphere to meet your friends after work or after a walk down the canal.
Fantastic friendly Pub. Popped in with kids for a drink whilst partner did paperwork and picked up a car from close by garage. Havent had ploughmans bar snack for years. Was great!. X
