   I attended the quiz night at the Robin Hood pub in Sutton and I was thoroughly impressed with the night. The landlord Steve hosted the quiz with a friendly and inclusive style which put everyone at ease and made for an interesting night. The format of the quiz was excellent as well with the outcome in the balance until the last round. I would heartily recommend this quiz and will be going again soon. I cannot give a rating for food as I did not eat there.

   I do not eat there so hence I cannot give a genuine rating on the food but the food is always very well presented always looks good and I hear compliments from the customers to the staff about it and never has any food been returned during my visits which are very frequent during the week. The owners Steve & Claire are lovely, very polite and welcoming to people coming in. I can only vouch for my afternoon visits but it is a very well maintained pub with great fresh and fizzy draught lager all the time. Top marks to all there.

   I have been going here fairly regularly for a number of years and it’s currently the best is ever been. The staff are fantastic, always welcoming and keen to help with whatever you need. The food is well priced, fresh and very tasty with a good variety of options. The lovely little garden is a bonus for a town centre pub and there are lots of themed evenings that are good fun. Well worth a visit.

   We visited yesterday as we wanted to have lunch in a dog friendly establishment. They had water and dog treats for the puppy (cute touch) We had a selection of starters which were amazing, followed by some mains, off the the pub selection. They all tasted lovely and good value for money. The pub is really clean and fresh, with a lovely atmosphere. We were recommended this place via Facebook group and will be visiting again.

   A real gem of a pub great atmosphere friendliest staff. Used to use this pub regularly but was not great, heard some good feedback so decided to try again. We went in as a family of 9 all had different meals from the menu. All meals were enjoyed. We enjoyed so much that we booked for the next day. We had 2 beef roasts, absolutely amazing home cooking and such large portions for a very good price. Recommend to book Sunday roasts. Can’t wait to go back.

   Pub had a great atmosphere with a decent selection of beer. Food was delicious! Being dog friendly is an added bonus, with water bowls and dog treats left out ready.
