   On our email it said we would get discounted parking at a nearby carpark. When we arrived we were told this is no longer the case and there's nothing the receptionist could do. This is very frustrating as this is one of the reasons we chose this hotel. Wouldn't of even minded if we could've been given some options of who to contact about this. Nothing just 'unfortunately the manager said we don't longer do this'. One lift was out of order. As for the room we had, it was a decent size however there was a very strange smell that hit you like a tonne of bricks as soon as you walked through the door. Bed was comfy enough and looked pretty clean but the smell just put us off. There was also what sounded like a band playing downstairs however it sounded like it was coming from the next room. Location was good. Wouldn't return due to our bad experience with room and parking but the price was pretty good. Paid around £60 for a Friday night in the centre of leeds and you may have a better experience.

   Beware, if you booked before 10 November 2025 , the website advertised £9.50 discount parking , this is no longer done, we only found out when we checked out today (having booked on 10th Nov) , no offer of a refund. Have written a complaint to Travelodge, I received zero e mails to tell me about the change ....when 24 hours is £24...it's not great...we would have got the train had we know. The room was clean/quiet. We paid to upgrade. Hairdryer available to borrow from reception. Great brekky buffet and lovely staff working in the restaurant and housekeeping.

   Ideal location for the centre of Leeds and a good place to stay. Rooms warm and comfortable with a good size bed. We were given a room at the rear of the hotel away from any noise at the front. They have a bar/restaurant on the 1st.floor which is also where breakfast is served. Very clean hotel. For me it's the best I have stayed in as there was no bath to climb in to get a shower. Instead it has a good sized shower area. Good pressure and hot water. There was only one minor complaint and that is a nasty sewage odour coming from toilet. Only noticed next morning

   4th floor room at the rear of the building on a Wednesday and I can hear a pin-drop. I had expected noise from the reviews I’ve read but not in this occasion. Room clean, bed comfy (great night’s sleep). The man and woman on reception were lovely, friendly and efficient. £75 was good value compared to other Leeds hotels when I booked. Would stay again.

   Good location!!!Hotel in the heart of the city centre!!! Parking though was about 8-10 away from hotel ( market st)but quite reasonably priced considering the time spent and discounted ( 2 nights). Breakfast was very good with vegan sausages,scrambled eggs,beans etc etc. Room was adequate enough even though I ended up with a two single beds accommodation!!! Shower lovely and hot-great!!! Front desk and staff at the hotel very very welcoming especially manager( Denise) ,I think that was her name and male sidekick !!! All and all a good stay and will be returning again!!!! Thank you Travelodge Vicar Lane , Leeds - Great service!!!! Recommended _kg1production.

   Nothing was too much trouble .The Staff were wonderful so friendly. The room was huge . The bathrooms spotless Beds Do very comfy . I have very poor sleep But slept very well. Linen crisp clean . The tea coffee in the room were really nice and we were told “just ask for more “ . Iron and clean ironing board just asked and was given . Anything you needed was there . Towels beautiful fluffy. Lovely view of growing Leeds . The food and the cheeky cocktails we treated ourselves to was delicious and hot . There was so much to choice at breakfast. We can not praise this particular TL enough . Felt safe and warm . Thank you for making the 2 days we were in Leeds so lovely . We have recommended you to our friends the next time we all get together again in your beautiful city of friendly Leeds

   We stayed 18 nights here. Room was clean and spacious. Fresh towels and, tea and coffee were provided everyday. The housekeeping lady Fatima was very kind and helpful. Also, the staff was very nice and very helpful. I think a better chair could have been provided in the room (it was very uncomfortable). Poor wifi was another failure (always down). I highly recommend this hotel.

   Excellent hotel. Room was so clean, seemed newly decorated and very tidy. Great value for money at just over £50 for a nights stay. Very friendly and helpful reception staff also. Would definitely recommend

   My son and I had a lovely stay. The staff couldn't do enough for us. So friendly and polite. The room was very clean, the bathroom was very spacious. Everything was well lit and everything worked as it should. The food was excellent. We had delicious pizza's made fresh on site. Plenty of choice for breakfast and kids eat free. I'm sure we will be visiting again soon.

   Perfect location for everything, we were going to the O2 Academy and an amazing price. Our room was spacious, lovely comfortable bed and very clean don’t expect anything fancy but it has everything you need. One thing to point out is it is a city centre hotel so expect some noise. There is secondary glazing which takes a lot away but it’s not silent, so if you want a silent night take ear plugs. It didn’t stop me having a sleep.
