Worst experience ever to the point that I’m not safe to go back as they have a severe lack of understanding autism. Some of the Max facial doctors have very unprofessional behaviour to make people feel unheard or not safe and they hurt patients emotions then treat patients with emotional neglect. Patients know their body health better than the doctors as they’re the ones living with it all the time. So it is very wrong of the doctors to not listen and make up things about patients and some of the medical secretaries don’t pass things on before the appointments when you asked them to. It’s very wrong of doctors to accuse you of mental health making things up when they’re the ones not accepting the truth and not accepting you with your long term brain conditions. Plus not accepting that you’re only explaining about your past of when/how symptoms started. They’re too quick to judge when you’re only explaining things once to them. everyone has up and down days. Some of them are too rude to not accept the truth and it doesn’t mean you have mental health when you’re enjoying your days and then explaining to them what started the conditions, they need to accept that it’s always gonna be in patients memories, doesn’t mean you’ve got mental health. Some medical secretaries are extremely nasty like saying “I don’t care” to give an extremely bad reputation of the service even when you’re trying to explain your communication needs to them, if they don’t care and don’t help you, how else will you get things sorted? Be aware that the management is nasty because they don’t get back to you when they say they will in order to make you more upset and treat you with emotional neglect not respecting that it’s the doctors fault for hurting you. and it can get annoying chasing things up. The service is pathetic because of how they pick on people that are vulnerable and sensitive and then take it out on patients emotions not respecting the consequences of their behaviour. It’s certainly not a safe place a male doctor in the max facial is the worst doctor ever as he bullies people over their disability brain conditions. so he has real mental health psychological issues himself wanting to use and abuse vulnerable people for not being neurotypical to make the patient’s emotional and then take it out on their emotions and not accept the truth when patients say they don’t feel safe. plus he make things up about people because he’s small minded and thinks he knows everything but he doesn’t live in the patients body so he doesn’t understand anything. Every patient knows when doctors are making things up or when they’re actually listening before figuring things out, but obviously he doesn’t so he’s not worth trusting as he likes to medically gaslight people.

Been to A&E twice in the past 9 days. Both occasions was there for 8hrs - which isn't even my complaint as I understand there are far more serious patients to deal with! Understaffed with one doctor to 60 patients. On my first visit I was given a pile of tablets to take after only a 5 min triage and barely any information taken. No explanation on what the medication was or what it was for. All vending machines were broken. The most uncomfortable seats known to man! Second visit doctor was incredibly dismissive and pretty much told me it was all in my head and to go home. The scariest thing of all was the lack of cleaning. Only one cleaner came past on both occasions, doing a very superficial clean with a damp mop. Barely wiped any surfaces (and definitely not the important ones!). I also expected some sort of room spray like they used in planes to kill germs. This made me concerned as there was a very bad case of COVID coughing away in the corner amongst a host if other things! I can just hope that the air filtration system is state of the art!
