   2025 UPDATE: Sorry to say that this time round it was a bad experience! Mike was quick to respond with getting the car in. However, after a few weeks he was still umming and aahing about what needed to be done. Initially, thought it was bad fuel in the tank that was drained out, and a cylinder misfire, then something with the convertor. He was reluctant to give me a price to do the work because he needed to "diagnose"and speak to his son. After a while, he brought the car back and said he couldnt do anything over Xmas. After the holiday, I followed up on 2 occasions, but he never called back. I don't know why- embarrasment, lack of ability, unwillingness to do the job - a mystery that I didnt get to solve because Mike would not engage with me. I finally got my car fixed at Turners who diagnosed a fuel pump problem that was fixed and returned with a new MOT in 3 days. FIRST EXPERIENCE: Highly recommended!! I needed a review and MOT and spoke to Mike, who was able to get the car repaired and the MOT done within 2 days. The prices were reasonable, and the service was marvellous: Mike even did a small "patch-up" repair on another of my cars with no charge!

   Finding a reputable, reliable mechanic is not an easy task. I'm relatively new to the area and have a modern car which is a few years old. I did a search for approved garages, and the reviews for CMR were reassuring. As a woman who has always been able to bring my car to my father, who has now retired from working as a motor mechanic, finding a trustworthy mechanic who has great customer service is key. I have found that in Mike at CMR as he fixed a major issue on my car, gave great advice, and the cost was reasonable. I will continue to bring my car here and have already recommended him to others.

   One of the best garages I've ever been to. Very helpful, very quick and very reasonably priced. Found this garage as it's close by so popped in and managed to get the car booked the next day. They managed to diagnose the problem and have the car fixed within 24 hours of dropping the car off. Will definitely be taking my car here again in future for all servicing.

   Have known Mike for.many years. He is one of the good guys, knowledgeable, helpful and keen to solve mechanical problems. Fixed my failed climate control, collected and delivered the car all for one price which was cheaper than his estimate. He also has over 1000 reviews on another site where his average is in the high 9's out of 10. I would recommend him.
