Hotel is looking a little tired now. Carpets are dirty and the woodwork needs a paint. The room was cold when I got in and it's heated by a cheap and noisy electric panel heater. Beds were standard , always comfy Premier Inn beds. Breakfast was good though the staff were more interested in Tiktok videos than clearing tables ready for customers coming down for breakfast. It does however have a carpark albeit a little small and not ideal for large vans.

Before booking, factor in extra costs: £15 for car park (not known a Premier Inn which have a car park to charge); £16 clean air charge (1 night stay depending on car too). Probably would have best book further out the clean air zone, paid a little more and still saved overall. Room was expected quality.

Stayed here when attending a gig at utilita arena. Great location short walk to the arena. Staff at the premier inn could not of been more helpful. Samira on reception was great, extremely helpful and such a lovely person all round. Breakfast was great, good choice of food and the cooked food element was very nice, always a good start to the day.

The hotel was in a great location, close to restaurants and bars when we came up to see friends. Room was well cleaned and tidy, no faults or issues. Reception staff and team were very polite, helpful and accommodating. We will definitely stay here again next time we come up.

Staying for 2 nights for the Pierce The Veil concert and we can’t fault the hotel or staff in any way. Any issues we have had have been very quickly resolved. Breakfast had a great selection of foods and the cooked breakfast was lovely. Samira was extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable! Helping out someone with minimal experience in a city like this massively.

What you’d expect from an older Premier Inn. Familiar decor and facilities, just a little tired and worn out. Frayed carpets, damaged skirting boards, faulty TVs, dirt or mould in the bathroom caulking and un-vacuumed hallways. The staff are the ones who make this hotel though. Super friendly and welcoming and they genuinely seem to care about your stay.

The rooms were clean and tidy. We're a few general wear and tear as you'd expect. A good car park feels secure. Good location as its just of the main street. But I'm writing this as Owen was amazing! I'm not a morning person but he made me one that day. He was so lovely and welcoming made me feel valued. He was chatty and friendly gave recommendations. He was just amazing. I hope he sees this and should be told he's doing an amazing job! We will be visiting again just to see him! Honestly he's a vital asset to company and the business!

Nice hotel, good size room, strong shower and great breakfast. The staff are great especially Owen who was always happy to help and seemed to do abit of everything to a great standard. Would definitely stay here again and not just because of the convenient location

The staff were lovely, can’t fault them or the room, but we were kept awake ALL NIGHT by stomping upstairs and in the corridors, and doors slamming constantly at the entrance and in the hallways. Some serious sound proofing and soft closing doors are needed. We were kindly offered complimentary breakfast but a good nights sleep was what we paid for. Insufficient parking on site, which in any case is paid but we had to park a 5 minute walk down the road and pay £21 for one night.

Another faultless stay at Premier Inn. Clean, comfortable room. Extra tea/coffee in reception. What more could you ask for? Special mention goes to Owen who was in reception when we arrived, serving in the restaurant for our evening meal & cooking breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble & he was extremely pleasant & chatty at every meeting. He made what is always a pleasant experience truly enjoyable. Top marks to him!
