We had our Christmas party here and it was without a doubt the best that we have experienced. The food was exceptional and plentiful. There was no waiting between courses. I would highy recommend the Beef and the cheesecake !! The staff were friendly and the music was great.

Booked afternoon tea for a family group over two weeks ago. One of our party has allergies. At half seven last night the venue phoned up saying that non of the "home made cakes" they buy in are suitable because of the allergies. This was partly due to our clumsy phrasing in the original order. We clarified that anything gluten & chocolate free was ok. When we turned up, we had a big discussion where it became apparent that the phone calls & discussion last night had been forgotten &, once again anything gluten & chocolate free was ok. Prosecco or teas? Teas. But there was no question about what type, so everyone for breakfast tea by default. We waited over forty minutes, watching people who'd come in after us being served, for food that was tired. The cheese & the ham sandwiches especially were dry as though they were made yesterday. The victoria sponge cake slices were so old that the jam had soaked half way through the sponge. The gluten free cakes consisted of very small meringues, fruit salad & sorbet (without a spoon), while the gluten free scones were overcooked. They did take something off the bill for the "lack of gluten free cakes"- a little over 3% of the total bill. No discount for the poor communication, stale food, & slow service. Some of our party have been here before (including the gluten free member) & had none of these problems. We do not recommend.

Stayed here a couple of times when away from work. Staff always have been nice and helpful. The room was clean and had everything needed. A couple of small saunas which do the Job and a small gym with enough equipment for basic workouts. Breakfast was lovely and parking was free for guests. Didn't eat evening meal but the menu looked good. Price is value for money. Would stay again when in the area.

Great buffet breakfast and overall a good stay. The rooms could do with some basic maintenance and cosmetic issues. But their clean and comfortably, the carpark is at the front so the better rooms are at the back if the property overlook the patio area, back garden and woods. Breakfast was buffet style with a good selection of food, hot drinks and juices. The carpark is free, but remember to register your car otherwise there's a £100 fine

Booked a room last minute as we were going to a concert in Birmingham. Staff at reception were friendly & helpful when we arrived. We didn't try any of the food or other facilities as we were out until late after we checked in. The room was nice, clean, and did the job. Only thing I'd criticize is the shower pressure was very low, even after pressing the buttons the stickers on the wall said to for more pressure it didn't do anything, as well as the shower temperature was quite cold whilst on the max setting. Would consider booking again though if we're back in the area in the future.

Had a lovely stay, staff were fab and so helpful and friendly. Breakfast lovely. Just a couple of niggles kettle in room didn't work unless finger kept on button(I did report it) and shower not very good so didn't use it but at least had a bath which I loved. Rooms lovely, comfortable and warm.

Nicely decorated hotel and rooms. The staff were pleasant on arrival. The beds were not very comfortable and the shower pressure was poor. However, the room rate was good value compared to the others in area. I’d be happy to stay here again.

The staff were all brilliant. We stayed at the hotel to attend a family party. Ryan was really helpful with the food, and even with teaching the macarana! The receptionist was patient with loud drunk guests losing handbags and the bar staff were friendly, efficient and fun. Thank you for a lovely evening
