   Just spent New Year partying at Cannock Chase Golf Club and it was terrific. The food was delicious and served promptly (Clara and her team did an excellent job at keeping everything flowing) The DJ and live band had a good repertoir of music to keep the dance floor buzzing and I especially like the fact the gave the staff a 15 min break to celebrate the New Year with us. We will definately be booking again in 2026 and would like to thank all the organisers for making our New Year so special.

   Fantastic value for money - my girlfriend and I pay £45 a month for the gym and this includes all group exercise classes too in separate studio rooms. There are so many groups sessions, we are spoiled for choice. We do a 1hr exercise class every evening during the week, mostly yoga and pilates which we love. The reception staff are fantastic and even remember our names each time we arrive. Facilities are great and clean and tidy with a steam room too! There is so much value in this membership, it would be silly to go elsewhere - we've tried to find somewhere like this for maybe a year now and it ticks all the boxes. There is also a lovely bar with friendly staff, they do cooked breakfasts and other food all day. I can even bring my laptop and use their wifi, sit in the bar area with comfy seats to work. Would thoroughly recommend. Only small gripe is the app used to book online for the group sessions - it's absolutely rubbish, but once you've set everything up and got used to it, it's does the job, but is in desperate need of an overhaul. Everything else is spot on!

   Our regular place for family celebratory birthday Sunday lunchs at Woodlands Restaurant set within The Chase golf club complex near Pemkridge. This must now be about or 30th visit which says it all. For £29.95 you receive a three course lunch in a lovely modern style dining area overlooking the golf course. This time we all went for the same starters of spicy parsnip soup, traditional turkey lunch with bowl of mixed vegetables and large Yorkshire pudding. Sweets included a lemon style torte and a chocolate based dessert with gooey centre - lovely! Both were superb (tried a small portion of my Wife's lemon torte which was tangy to the pallette - very nice.) Service as always prompt, attentive but not overbearing. Bill to include pre meal drinks and coffee/tea came to around £105 for the three of us. A check in was made as we paid the bill with my Wife mentioning that the pot of tea for two came with only one tea bag and was rather weak. Admitting their mistake the cost of the tea was promptly deducted without further discussion which displays in my opinion real customer service and awareness. As always a 5 star rating yet again. This must be one of the best value Sunday lunches set in lovely surroundings within the local area. Another family birthday due in January 2026 for which we will be rebooking very soon. Top marks again - Keep up the great work and service Woodlands Restaurant.

   Lovely setting by the golf course with distant country views. Friendly welcome. Comfortable room with super king bed. Good service in the lounge for our bar food and drinks. The food was good. Good service at Breakfast, which was freshly cooked and tasty. Free use of spa and health club and wellness centre is a bonus , which we sadly didn't have time to take advantage of. It was an ideal spot for us to stay, as it was a short drive for us to see Sting at Cannock Chase Forest Amphitheatre. Also, thank you to the cleaner who retrieved my earring from the hoover and put it into lost property. Would happily recommend it if you're in the area.

   Great golf course which gets better year on year. Restaurant is as goo as any in the area, should not be over looked. Hotel, spa and gym as well..... highly reccomended!

   Great value. Clean well equipped rooms. One divan in 'Aspen' room lumpy. Showers could do with screens. Very quiet, perhaps a reflection of winter time. Limited amenities as middle of the golf course but bar and restaurant good. Good breakfast spoiled by reheated coffee and measly sausage. If you are a golfer, brilliant. As a hotel, very good.

   Such a lovely place in a beautiful location overlooking the golf course. Open to non members. Bar meals are really good, service is excellent and so friendly. Will be back to try the restaurant very soon. Not stayed here yet. Highly recommended.

   We had our wedding at Chase golf club. We had looked at a few venues before chase golf club and when we arrived here we just knew this would be the perfect venue for us. All of the staff were friendly and the venue itself is modern and set on beautiful grounds. From the moment we booked the wedding their communication was fantastic. No question was stupid and they always replied and helped quickly. myself and the bridesmaids stopped over the night before the wedding and booked a meal in The Woodlands Restaurant. The table was decorated in rose petals and we were given a complimentary shot which was a lovely added touch. The food was incredible. We liked the food so much a family member booked their 60th birthday there. On the actual day of the wedding each and every member of staff worked incredibly hard to ensure the day ran as smoothly as possible. A big shoutout to Claire, Maisy, Paul and Adam the DJ for helping to make our day extra special. Although every member of staff worked incredibly hard but unfortunately didn’t get their names. So many of our guests commented on how our wedding just seemed to run seamlessly and seemed stress free. I believe this is down to the incredibly hard work of the staff. If you’re looking for a beautiful wedding venue with incredible staff this is the wedding venue for you. Thank you so much for helping to make our day extra special.
