   A big shout out to David who works in the self serve area. It doesn’t matter what time of day you go into store and how busy it is. David always has a smile and is so patient and helpful. Outstanding customer service.

   My first online order, never again. I went to pick up and my order was still active when there so I said I had arrived and waited 10 minutes. I then got an email saying cancelled. Wasted my time and fuel. Told me to reorder yet the product is not online to order no more so how can I do that.

   Every time I shop here, there is something I cannot find. When ask, the standard response from staff is "stock is store specific. That item is not stocked in this store". Very limited choice on majority of food items, fridges, freezers and shelves regularly empty, order pickers are rude and think they own the store, would rather stand around chatting to colleagues than do their job and regularly push past/ in front of customers to get to the shelves. Store always looks drab and grotty. Food quality is definitely on the decline.

   Asda Queensferry: where shopping meets survival training. The store itself looks like it’s on its final warning—grey, weary, and about as inviting as a cold cuppa. You walk in thinking you’ll grab a loaf of bread, and leave questioning your life choices. Trolleys? Possessed. Honestly. One veered left so hard I thought it was trying to join the A55. Another locked up like it owed someone money. You don’t push them—you negotiate. Inside, McDonald’s is less “Happy Meal” and more “urban litter experiment.” Chips under the chairs, straw wrappers doing the conga line across the floor. If you dropped a fry, it’s lost to the elements. And that car park—my word. It’s like a maze designed by someone who hates drivers. Orange cones, random fences, and exit signs pointing in twelve directions. You don’t leave Asda, you escape it.

   The colourful eyed woman in the cowboy hat was warm, funny, and genuinely helpful. She answered all our questions right away and supported us throughout. The cash machines were a bit confusing everything was green, and the warnings weren’t clear, especially since we hadn’t used Asda in a while. Thankfully, the woman in the cowboy hat added both colour and clarity to the place. I also got the nicest lighter shade I’ve ever bought a greyish blackand the flowers looked impressively fresh, not faded at all.

   On several occasions I have had issues with the self checkout. The main one being when a purchase needs approval, and I have been kept waiting for up to 5 minutes for assistance, while 2 or more members of staff are chatting amongst themselves in the immediate vicinity. Surely the staff chatting amongst themselves is not as important as getting a customer through the checkout, so the next person can make their purchase? I attempted to raise this issue with a member of staff supervising the self checkout and was spoken too like I was a naughty child! Absolutely ridiculous. Today I decided to put a reasonable time limit on my delay, your store failed, when, at the time there where 2 members of staff chatting and 4 customers waiting to be helped but being ignored. I left my shopping at the checkout and left to ease the burden on your staff that I was clearly creating. Edited as I am otherwise unable to respond to Tashas reply. The self checkout assistants were female and appear to be late 40's-early 60's 5' tall to 5'6" other than that I can't really help with a description. It was approximately 19:30 on 14/02/2023. This I not a unique experience. I will continue to put a time limit on how long I am prepared to wait at the self checkout. Edited after a further visit to the same store. I went to a manned checkout only to have a similarly poor experience when the operator who I have met on several occasions before who on each occasion I have met her I have explained I have hearing difficulties, the operator had a mask on which makes it difficult hear what she says, she seemed to recognise me as one of the earlier events involved her. When she was passing my items through the till she, instead of moving them to the end of the bagging area in a reasonable manner she used a considerable amount of force hitting them into the end of the bagging area. I raised this with her at the time and asked her not to use do much force and received the reply that I shouldn't be so miserable! I reminded her I have complained about her before and asked her should I complain again, I couldn't make out her reply to this. I am considering going to an alternative supermarket in future.    Monday morning on way to work and had to wait a good 5 minutes for someone to open the doors. Nice guy called Ian who I think had been working nights there called Louise to open up. No rush, no apology, not good service for such a big store!

   Absolutely rediculous click and collect! Firstly no signs to find click and collect at all. It was in the carpark all locked up. No signs to say anything. I went to customer services to ask. They said its round the back of the store. Still no signs to follow or when you finally get there. 7 substitutes aswell. Totally different products for substitutes. Won't be doing this again in a hurry!

   Absolute joke of a supermarket! Prices are much higher than others which you could forgive if they had people on the tills; 4 tills had people on them meaning we were queuing halfway down the aisles and waiting for over 30 mins (and counting) I will not be visiting this store ever again and it won't be long until others follow suit too.
