Great peaceful quiet stay cosy feeling throughout the hotel, very homely feeling great staff who made the stay even better. Worst hotel I've ever stayed in (Room 16) had a cracked, stained shower tray, broken shower so the head wouldn't stay up, the water was cold. In addition to this there were brown stains on the carpet and brown spatters which were most likely feces on the toilet wall. Property refused to refund when contacted by hotel.com

I booked the hotel as myself and my partner spent our anniversary at the nearby Leeds Illuminations and upon checking in it was an immediate disaster. Walking into the room we were greeted by a beer box stuffed behind the curtains and a used condom in the bin. We went down to the front desk to complain and they did provide us with a new room but when I asked why the room wasnβt cleaned before we checked in we were told βthe cleaner was still doing her roundsβ rather than apologise we were told βif you see the cleaner, give her a slapβ. Upon entering the new room, it didnβt have an empty box or a used condom left in the room but it did have blown bulbs and tissue stuffed into the extractor fan to pry it open as it appeared not to work without a helping hand from some tissue. Also if you book online you will be told there is a Pizza Express attached to the hotel but this is closed down and so have many of the other places around it. We were told after our stay that the hotel has a policy of not compensating or refunding for any poor experiences or lack of service. I also took plenty of photos from my stay but no one wants to see what we saw. My recommendation, sleep in your car for the night instead.

We booked a last-minute 6-night stay for a family of four in the summer holidays and, at under Β£400, it was very affordable β so I canβt complain too much. It gave us the chance to explore an area weβd not visited before, which we really appreciated. That said, there are a few things that definitely need attention. The bins on the first floor by the lifts regularly smelled unpleasant, and the carpets in the main corridors are overdue a deep clean. The βfamilyβ rooms are also very cramped for four people β if there isnβt space to walk between the two single beds, itβs effectively just a double. On the positive side, the cleaning staff were lovely and friendly, as were the reception team.

Started off as a nice stay until my 3rd night when I discovered the hotel turns in to what sounded like a kennel. The reason for my stay was business. So it meant long days work then expecting a nice quite night's sleep all I could hear was dogs barking in rooms around me. Ok I was offered a new room that night only to get the key and find it was still dirty bed not made and towels everywhere from the previous guessed. So eventually after midnight a room.was found that was ready and quite. The hotel should advise guessed that they take pets on the first floor so people get to pick not to stay on that floor. Would not recommend this hotel of you want a quiet night's sleep unfortunately.

Rooms were good and comfortable. Food was okay. Not something great as most of it was thawed and not prepared fresh. Loved the onion rings though. The location is perfect though near Skelton lake and awesome food court and a gas station and Spar . There is a kids play area as well that is pretty well maintained. Was disappointed by the house keeping services, they were a bit rude. Front desk staff was really good though. They do not have an inhouse laundromat and they couldn't help us with it either. Every thing had an additional charge like dental kits or sewing kits etc. We stayed for 15 days there as we were new to the country. Would be fair enough to say that it was a bittersweet experience. Would however recommend the place for short durations.
