   We visited the establishment for food as a large party of 9 to celebrate a family meal. This is the second time we have booked the Tickled Trout for a special family occasion. Again they didn't disappoint, the food was delicious and the service friendly and warm. We will definitely be back.

   Went for Sunday lunch at the tickled Trout with my fiance and had a lovely welcome from the staff… fires were roaring. What a lovely start! The food came quickly. and we weren’t expecting the home baked bread to start a lovely touch. My Fiance chose lamb and I couldn’t resist the beef. Both were plentiful, gorgeous crispy and fluffy roast potatoes and gravy like my mom used to make!. managed to clear our plates but needed a break for pudding. both chose the home-made crumble and it was absolutely delicious. The young staff are a delight and we would give this place 10 out of 10 already booked in for another treat. thanks team.

   I can only comment on service and lunch - both were great. Our dog was made to feel welcome, too. My only criticism would be that I'm not fond of the Austrian theme (and music) in the outside seating, but that's down to personal preference.

   Great location and atmosphere! We were here for a family birthday (party of 7) on a busy Sunday. Food was not only more than great but served altogether in a timely manner. Everyone including the kids enjoyed there food with enough choice to suit everyone. Staff were attentive and polite. Overall great experience!

   Lovely country pub, the food was excellent, unfortunately the staff let it down badly. They were cold on our arrival, just pointed to our table, the service and attention was very poor. Not once did any of them ask if the food was ok. This was a special birthday lunch and although we advised them nobody bothered to acknowledge it. It took a long time to get the bill, the staff just seemed to disappear. Such a pity really because as I said the food was excellent.

   Lovely country pub and accommodation, bedroom was clean and even had a carafe of port on the table. Excellent English breakfast with the biggest pot of T you could get. Nice cozy fires and lovely meals. We was made to feel welcome as soon as we walked into the bar, definitely will be back

   Lovely cosy pub, real fires everywhere. Great food, lovely waiter nothing too much trouble, we were visiting after looking at The Norman's wedding venue..lovely food, good size portions and fab cinnamon mulled wine. we will definitely be back!!

   Absolutely lovely pub with an incredible menu. Chicken liver Parfait gets a special mention. This is a professionally run establishment with excellent service and welcome from everyone (including some of the locals). Our bedroom was extremely comfortable with an amazing bathroom. We will definatley return again and would recommend it most highly.

   What an amazing establishment!! This is a special place. The food was phenomenal. I had the fish pie. I don't like fish, but this was delicious. I tasted the fish & chips, and it was light, fluffy, and perfect. The staff was kind and patient with my young nieces. The decor was perfect. I would definitely return to the Tickled Trout.
