Nice little weekend stay at this campsite, good facilities for the children including driving range and outdoor heated pool. We didn’t eat onsite but drank in the pub which had nice vibes. There was a bonfire display and fireworks which we didn’t expect, that was fantastic and very well organised. Downfalls for us was we arrived on Friday 31st Oct and expected Halloween events for the kids which were unfortunately the day before so we missed that which was a shame. The toilet block (male) my husband used these and said they were disgusting, excrement all over the toilets and up the walls, not cleaned regularly. Female toilets and showers seemed clean and had good amount of cubicles, showers, sinks, a bath, and a baby change. Very noisy neighbours on the first night, playing music and being very loud until early hours of the morning. Kept our children awake as you could literally hear everything!! Overall, pleasant stay. Staff friendly and attentive, really good location. We took a trip into knaresborough which was beautiful and only about 10 mins in car. We ate at the kestrel pub 5 mins away, absolutely gorgeous food highly recommended.

We went for the day as a guest as our family were staying on-site with their touring caravan. First impressions is lovely and clean site with lots of amenities. Cafe does lovely sausage and bacon buns and the outdoor swimming pool looked very well maintained too! Recommended

This is a lovely site, the lady who handled our check was very helpful and friendly. We booked a hard standing pitch which was nice and spacious. An added bonus was the Deer House pub was open. We visited each night of our stay. The lady behind the bar was exceptional, (wish we had got her name) even though she was on her own and very busy she never stopped smiling. She is an absolute credit to Rudding Park and we look forward to seeing her again. Enjoy your trip to Florida, you deserve it.

We were very much looking forward to our stay over the new year. We understood the appalling conditions of the grass pitches given the amount of rain that had fallen and we were very glad we had taken the car aswell as the motorhome, so we could get out and abouts as the only way off our pitch was by being towed off. What I can't forgive is the state of the toilet block. There was only one toilet block open, apologies were made for this on arrival, I was told this was because it was winter....the site was full, but it was the state of shower areas, full of mildew, taps missing off the bath and generally very run down. Thank goodness for good facilities in our motorhome. All in all the site is in a great location, but as a tourer I felt we were the poor relation.

Great campsite probably the best I've ever been on the toilets were spotless so was the immaculate grounds some huge great oak trees it also has a well maintained walled garden. The pub has a great atmosphere and was very well stocked I didn't try the food but has a great looking menu I stayed for 3 nights and I will be defos going back.

Lovely quiet site, not very busy when we were there though as it was during school term time. Nice large pitches with services on each pitch. Lovely clean toilet/shower blocks with oodles of hot water. We visited in our camper and used a small tow car for travelling to visit local places, so not sure how you'd manage without some sort of transport, or how far to walk /cycle to anything. It's set on a huge parkland area with a golf course so plenty of walking areas. Great to bring dogs too

Just stayed at Rudding Park for 4 nights, camping, and honestly couldn’t fault it. The grounds were very well maintained and the facilities were kept clean and tidy at all times. I have a 4 y/o and there was plenty for him to do such as a park and pool area and some beautiful walks and plenty of space for him to run around. There was also activities hosted by the site such as a superhero and princess party and arts and crafts ( we did not use this but saw it happening as we were walking by). All of the staff were very friendly and more than helpful. We are already looking to book again.
