Absolutely appalled by the service I received when picking up my click and collect order and making a return. The person behind the service desk was extremely unhelpful. Took over 5 minutes to get through the 3 customers in line. She then said she needed the phone to get my order so i was waited. The people with the device were talking so I said to the person behind the desk should I ask them and she said yes like she couldn’t be bothered to ask them. I then got my order. The woman behind the desk was rude, slow and unhelpful.

I went to this Asda to buy a product. Usually, the missus does the shopping so knows her way around this shop more than I do. But last week Sunday, I was in the shop looking for a specific product. Couldn't find it. So I went to look for help and walked up to these two Asda staff on the shop floor. I showed them the picture of the Asda product on my phone and politely asked which aisle the product was in. The older Asda staff on my left gave me a right angry stare, she was fuming, threw her hand up in the air with a scowl and said 'I have no idea' the second lady made an effort to help and said it might be in the baby aisle. Honestly , I was shocked by the plain hostile and frankly rude altitude of that older Asda staff. Was it really necessary? Or do I for some reason not qualify as the right kind of customer who needs help? Why should an Asda staff be plain rude and hostile to a customer? Or is this one of the Nigel Farage effect where treating people who don't fit a specific criteria in a disgusting way is becoming more and more acceptable? Why should I spend my hard earned money in Asda with staff that are plain rude if I could go to Aldi, Lidl, or Tesco to buy the same product. I am shocked by this level of hostile and rude attitude. Is it wrong to ask an Asda staff for assistance? I don't mind the fact that not every Asda staff might know location of a product but was the hostile and rude approach necessary?

I don't know what's happened to this ASDA store but it has gone down hill a very long way. Stocking is terrible, empty shelves all the time when looking for even the most basic items. Staff are more interested in chatting than working and the pharmacy is terrible. I've moved to a different one now because the new staff in the pharmacy are so rude!

There are a number of issues with this store but my absolute number one biggest bug bear is the state of the trolleys. It has become nigh on impossible to find one that doesn’t sound like an old train chugging along the tracks because the wheels are all broken. Infuriates me.

Always empty shelves. Pallets of stock just left in the aisles meaning customers can't get through. The stock levels are always poor with normal essential items missing most of the time. It's time to shut the shop and let another retailer take the space. It's been going down hill for years and you can see the frustration on the staffs faces when the management are letting them down.

Overall, pretty good. Can be really frustrating with a lack of tills open and waiting for staff to assist on self checkouts

Staff friendly that I dealt with. Really cross as smashed my phone while I was shopping, which made me very cross. Some parts low stock or empty, the gluten free bread wasn't in date.

I’ve come to expect nothing other than poor produce, poor selection and poor customer service from this place over the last couple of years, after we visited today to shop for ingredients at 12 midday we found NO fresh herbs on the shelf, the ones that were left were dead as they haven’t been watered, we wanted to cook a bit of a special family recipe this Saturday, we had to go to Lidl who had plenty left. This is just straw that broke the camels back, I’m sick to the back teeth of coming here and not being able to get what I need. I realised that because Goldborne is a bit of deprived area, the shops seem to be the same, we have decided to start shopping elsewhere at a premium supermarket, yes we’ll pay more but at least we will get what we need and want have to go to different shops to get the ingredients we need. Asda really has lost the plot.

Asda golbourne sat.4.2.23 6pm whichever ladies are working on the pizza counter need to be taught hygiene making pizza without wearing gloves, just digging your hands into everything while wearing rings,I witnessed the lady making a meatfeast and then a veggie supreme without gloves and without even washing her hands, i know you are busy but that is disgusting and the lady who took the vegetarian pizza had no idea what you had done, after witnessing that I didn't bother to order

Absolutely appalled at the service on the customer service kiosk - i went to return a couple of school uniform items (with my receipt) in exchange for different sizes and the lady on the till was awful, huffing and puffing that I have used a blue light card and also telling me the items I’m exchanging for need to be paid for at another till after she puts the money back onto a gift card (plastic) which was a complete waste of time and really not worth putting it on plastic when there was not a single person queuing up behind me but her argument was that she β€œ may possibly get a queue”!!! I told her the time she has just stood and argued with me I could have paid and gone but then all the other colleagues who were stood about also came siding with her not knowing what has even happened saying she is correct- i have been shopping in this store for over 25 years and always done exchanges at the customer service kiosk… The manager also seemed like she couldn’t care less - I wouldn’t really be bothered if I was on my own but I had the kids whom I had to take with me with my gift card to a self scanning till(already very cramped) which was chaos for no reason as she was blatantly being awkward with the backing of her colleagues!
