   Had a brilliant stay at Glendon B&B. Damian and Adrian are wonderful hosts and nothing is too much trouble. The room was spotless and comfortable and there are lots of lovely small touches throughout the B&B that create a cosy and welcoming atmosphere. The autumn decor was particularly lovely this time of year! The B&B is well located as it is just a short walk from the centre of Matlock, and breakfast was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend the blueberry pancakes and porridge with double cream and brown sugar!

   We went to this amazing b&b as our friends from Sheffield (who also stayed) recommended it to us. The rooms are beautifully decorated, the bed and bedding were so comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. What else can we say? …….. perfect!

   This was our second visit to Glendon Guest House (after a gap of 6 years). Everything is just as we remembered. Adrian and Damian are the perfect hosts and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are light and airy, very clean and decorated to a high standard. The beds are the most comfortable we have found and the breakfasts are amazing. Everything is fresh and of great quality and there is a great variety for vegetarians and meat eaters alike. A wonderful Guest House in a great location for exploring the Peak District.

   We have travelled to Matlock nine times over the past eleven years, each time staying at local B&B's. Whilst we have enjoyed many wonderful venues, Glendon is by far the very best to date! An absolutely gem of a find! The team were so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The house is beautiful and perfectly maintained. Parking is private and perfectly located at the rear of the building with direct access to the main road. The rooms are equally clean and well equipped - as well as nice and quiet, which was a lovely surprise bearing in mind the proximity to the main road. We will definitely be back!

   This is an excellent B&B with friendly hosts - so much thought has been given to the 'little extras'. The homemade cake and proper tea in the guest lounge was a lovely welcome. The bedroom was clean and warm, with fresh milk in the fridge and an amazingly comfy bed. Breakfast choices were excellent and tasty. It's also reassuring to have onsite parking and the option to walk into the town. The only problem now is deciding when to return!

   This is a gem of a bread and breakfast. One of the best places I have stayed. We received a lovely welcome , shown to our room and had complimentary coffee and homemade lemon cake waiting for us in the guest sitting room. This had lovely views of the park . Our room was immaculate, a beautiful room a menu for breakfast which is an excellent idea. The breakfast choice was varied, I chose the full English. It was superb, the best breakfast I've ever had. Tea and coffee were served in proper China tea cups and the breakfast room was immaculate and overlooked the park. If you ever get a chance choose the Glendon first class Hotel with excellent hosts . We will definitely be returning

   We had a wonderful stay at Glendon Bed and Breakfast, from the welcome to the goodbye Damien could not have been friendlier. Nothing was too much trouble from advice on places to visit to returning a necklace which I left behind. A delicious breakfast in a lovely light airy dining room set you up for the day and a lovely clean comfortable room ensured a good night. All three of you were friendly, helpful and did a great job, thank you

   From the moment we spoke on the phone to book a room to the last minute before we left Damien, our host, was super helpful and very kind. The rooms are very clean and nicely decorated; the communal space was very homely; and the breakfast/dining area was lovely. So much more food than I expected and all fresh and tasty. Our 17 month old enjoyed walking around in the outside space, and their dog, Jasper, was very sweet too. Will definitely come back to this beautiful guest house. Five stars all round!
