The owners are lovely and so helpful. Views are amazing. The breakfast and cakes are just the best
Lovely views, friendly owners. However please be aware there are no facilities on site - no toilets or showers. This is not mentioned anywhere that I could find so it came as rather a surprise. I have a Berlingo Microcamper and was not equipped, but was able to visit a friend in the area.
We stayed in the large field on a social camping event. There is no facilities so wild wees or a camping loo needed. Lovely big fire pit available for gatherings. Short walk to the local pub Follow Daddyslittlelunchbox on socials
This is a fantastic hidden gem. It has a elsan point and fresh water points. We have always booked sites with electric and premier pitches so this was out of our comfort zone as its a basic site but goodness me. It's turned out to be be our favorite site. We came to an 80s weekend in July and are now attending the Oktoberfest event this weekend. Breakfast, tea and cake and dinner cobs are on offer throughout the weekend. The owners are so obliging and friendly, Make time for the campers, put games and make it a really fun weekend. Would highly recommend this site.
