Bought everything we needed for camping and hiking. Lauren was absolutely fantastic, gave us advice on hiking boots based on our requirements, not just focused on price, actually helped us with what would be best for us. Recommended socks and other items as well! Feel very prepared now. Thank you.

This is a boring shop. Good range of items for camping, you can get a good deal here sometimes, especially if you're a member. It was better before they sold off their spaces to third party companies. The bike section here is no longer run by go outdoors - Some expensive, pretentious third party company. Generally clean & tidy - prefer the store in Farsley.

I after be honest and say my visit on Thursday was a very bad experience when I first walked in I was asked to leave my backpack with staff I assume they believ ed I was a thief but I shrugged it off and continue d just to be asked to hand over the clothes I picked to save until I was ready to pay .at that point I felt uncomfortable and just wanted to get out of there I must say every time I go into the fishing shop in store I was welcomed and treated like a normal customer .and to add insult to injury when I finnaly paid for my clothes I was told my backpack was just left by my bike right next to the doors with very precious pictures and jewellery that I just picked up .very bad experience and wouldn't advise the place I'm going to try pudsey store from now on has I am a member and ya do find some great deals

Cant fault Go outdoors in Leeds 9 its a got a great selection and very reasonable on price. The staff are very friendly and they is no hard sell . Returned 2 things in the last 2 years one of them was an unwanted gift the other was a seem badly stitched by the manufacturer it was no fault of theirs and no problem with refund amongst the amount of items I have bought from there . You can buy online and maybe save a few quid but I have had snide items or the size was way off . So I go now and try before buy.

Visited last Monday (21st) and was served by a super friendly guy named Jack who explained the discount card really well and made sure we knew all the advantages of it and how to use it! We also had some advice from a guy with glasses who was really helpful when I was choosing waterproofs, and helped me decide on the best coat to buy (as I work outdoors in all weather's!) Both made it a really good experience and will definitely be returning in the future! Thanks :D

A garment purchased today hadn't had its security tab removed which was discovered on arriving home. Had to make 1hr round trip to have it removed only to be told that i couldn't be compensated for the inconvenience as i didn't have the paper receipt or card it was paid on. A photo of the receipt was provided as i was unable to show the original as it had been bought as a gift . After contacting the Manager by phone and not getting anywhere I have now decided to take this matter to Customer Services as I feel they need to know how customers are being treated

We visited the store to purchase several beghaus coats and fleeces for myself and my wife. The staff in the store were very friendly and really brilliant. They supported us with advice and guidance on the items and in bringing the correct sizes from the warehouse. We actually spend way to much in time in the store making up our minds. One of the staff picks this up in our conversation and warned us stays were limited to 2-hrs. Having almost spent this much time in the store he kindly updated their system with our car number plate so we wouldn't get a fine. The fine for overstay is £150. A couple of issues with the visit. A number of the items were either not priced up or incorrectly priced, compared to that on their system; The staff were clear the store would match any offer on their website. However when we went to the till to pay the manager seemed to try and unpick this... this doesn't apply, you can't do this, you can't apply both deals at the same time, etc... all this said in a very offish and arrogant tone, whilst munching on chewing gum. When I showed her the basket on the website and the fact all the deals had been applied... she reluctant applied the deals, "as one off", and was even more stand offish; Having processed the payment for the goods, she stood arrogantly waiting for us to leave. Having bought 5 items she made no attempt to ask whether we wanted a carrier bag, with the purchases piled up on the till. From the point when the payment went through she remained silence... not even a word around "thank you for shopping at ...", have a good day. Again the staff on the shop floor were brilliant... the manager really does need to get a change or attitude or personality....

Called at this shop today rather than the Wakefield branch. The shop was well stocked with all your outdoor activity needs, we managed to get the gas bottles we wanted. Staff appeared pleasant and approachable.
