   Rang up as my mum was due some meds the lady use the term loosely insisted my husband had picked them up baring in my mind my mum is full of cancer we just been told she has less than 3 months to live he was told only pain patches had come round . i rang the chemist and they said that was all they had monday comes i rang back and they said my husband had picked them up friday she would not listen to me explain called me a liar and hung up on me reduced me to tears then 10 minutes later the pharmacist rang back and said yes we have them so i said is this lady who called me a liar going to have the decency to give me an apology for calling me a liar and hanging up on me but no didn’t get one off her or him disgusted in this chemist at this sad time in my life and not fair on my mother at all disgusted

   This pharmacy and the staff are great they are so professional but also extremely friendly I have never had a long wait for a prescription but I do understand if they are really busy you may need to wait a little longer the products are nice and cheap which is what you need in this day and age of saving money I would recommend this pharmacy to everyone the staff are awesome and the head pharmacist is brilliant I took my brother in for an opinion on a bad ere and he sorted him out and pointed him in the right direction thanks again for everything !!

   Update: I'd like to add that the service received from the pharmacist was exponentially better than that from the lady in the shop front. The prescription was actually ready to collect on my return which saved the stress of entertaining 2 kids for 20 minutes in the store, which is what I'd been told I'd have to do by the rude woman in the shop. The pharmacist was polite and helpful and went the extra mile in providing a syringe to aid dosage. ********* Original review: I'm not sure they have any idea what customer service is! It's stressful enough having an ill child never mind being actively ignored then told I can't come back for the prescription when it's made I'll have to come back with my sick child and WAIT 20 MINUTES while it's made. Absolutely ridiculous.

   Muhammed Umer working as a Locum on 28/01/2023 proved his talent with people and his education- I'm 6'3" tattooed and bald, I speak with a strong Northern accent and have always been pretty loud through poor hearing (tinnitus since late teens). Muhammed didn't distinguish in any way what so ever: he treated me with respect and courtesy throughout the consultation and administration of a flu vaccine and entered his education into our conversation- giving me complete satisfaction that he actually is with advanced knowledge in chemistry and medicinal remedy etc. I actually asked him whether he'd progress to becoming a doctor and his only excuse was a good one- he's newly married and the work load/hours and further education would blight his relationship and quality of life with his wife. It was something he'd consider for the future- and given the nature of the young man- "I'd like to propose someone keeps this window always open for him." This is a commendation for a young man with talent not just in his desired vocation- but in ambassadorial skills and diplomacy with people- "I'm a sincere person and it takes a lot to gain my confidence- Muhammed achieved this during a 15- 20 minute visit to Blidworth Chemist."

   I was honestly heartbroken that my local pharmacy could be so unhelpful, I understand that you are facing difficult times but as a parent and customer to wait for 35mins in a que to then find out you don't have something in stock, to then be told rudely there's a nationwide shortage and offering no advice on what I could do etc! I went to lloyds in rainworth and although they had no stock they went above and beyond and helped to call the doctors to get a replacement that they could supply. As a pharmacy I expect the staff to have some compassion for people that are unwell and needing treatment and yet they just wanted me out of the door. I've had many situations like this at blidworth and visiting lloyds was a breath of fresh air and I will honestly recommend them to anyone and everyone.

   Out of all the pharmacies in the local area, I have preferred to travel from Rainworth to use the Blidworth pharmacy because the customer service is always excellent and the staff are very friendly and helpful. If I don't have time to wait in store for my meds I ring ahead first to check if they've received the prescription from the GP surgery and that they have everything available, then when I arrive I am able to collect my meds quickly and go. Any shortages on meds available in store has always been resolved quickly.

   This Pharmacy is so hit and miss. I read other people and they say their meds are always ready! I can be in the store for 45 minutes waiting, and they are not unusual medications. Today is another classic, I placed my prescription with the doctors all in one go. Came today, and with a shorter than normal wait of around 30 minutes, where as usual people who come in after me get their meds before me. On checking my meds a little later, half we’re missing, so I call and get an excuse. Walk in tonight, with all staff stood in the rear of the store, none able to make eye contact stand for 10 minutes waiting for someone to serve me. A man walked in and went straight to the rear of the store and stood in the group talking, never saying you have someone waiting. (I do not think that he works there, but he seamed to know everyone.) I do not expect the store to be like an Amazon warehouse, but PLEASE can you give Blidworth a massive Christmas gift and serve us as a priority job and be given our meds in order, the correct meds and in a timely manner. Thank you So sorry to be negative but I have been using the store for years and nothing ever seams to change.

   Get my repeat prescriptions on a monthly basis and they are always ready and in stock. Staff are friendly and most helpful. Happy to give advice should you need it. Reasonable prices for over the counter medicines and pet care. A very nice little chemist overall.
