   The marinate of the flat iron is really good. I enjoyed the taste of all dishes. But still a little bit of membrane making it hard to chew at some point. And a little bit more than medium rare in my opinion. Overall it’s still a very good place.

   We visited here after checking other reviews, we were not disappointed. The service and decor are fabulous and the food especially the steaks are up there with the best I have had in any country (check my other reviews I have lots of experience). I would highly recommend this restaurant and I will definitely revisit the next time I am in York 10 out of 10 ❤️

   Went for a sunday lunch, not eaten here before, seen reviews of the Sunday sharing boards so thought we would try and were not disappointed. Board was huge really large cuts of meat and veggies, well cooked, all the sides were tasty, made the mistake of ordering extra sides but didn't need them.. Food was excellent, service a little slow to start but then picked up. We weren't disappointed, will be back when next in York.

   This was our second visit to Tomahawk, this time during York Restaurant Week. The food was great with really quick service. The set menu offered a good choice and something for everyone. Good choice of drinks, could do with a couple more draught beers to work through! We each had a different starter and dessert, each having the rump steak and additional onion rings. We’ll definitely be back, I’m keen to try one of the sharing boards!

   A very good restaurant if you don't have money problems. Our small family of 4 managed a very tasty and modest meal for a little over £130 for a 4 course meal plus one (!!!) starter for all. Everything was very tasty, excellent steaks, interesting recipes for side dishes. We ordered midium steaks, in reality, in our opinion, the steaks were rather in the middle between light and medium rare. The restaurant itself has a very stylish interior design, appropriate club music, though a bit loud. But when jazz was replaced by more melodic music, it became quieter. Keep in mind that a tip of 10% is included in the bill, but if you are not satisfied with the service, the tip can be excluded from the bill. But the service is really great! We had booked a table in advance, but there were still a few empty tables. In general, everything is excellent, I would rate the restaurant 4.5 out of 5 stars, I can not give 5 stars due to the steaks being cooked and high prices.

   Delicious. Impressed with staff who were friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Ordered the sharing platter (medium), four cuts of steak and four sides. Didn’t need to wait long but everything was still fresh. Sides were as delicious as the steak itself and would recommend anyone visiting to dine here

   The last meal of my visit to York, and I was left very satisfied. Staff were great and we were served very quickly, and the food didn't take long to arrive either. Had dim sum for starters served with pickled vegetables, and soy sauce. Just enough to wet our appetite. I had the wagyu beef burger with a side of Mac and cheese for my main. The burger was really juicy and had a Jack Daniels jam with it. The price was pretty good too for what we got so definitely recommend going

   Went for breakfast at 10am on a Saturday morning. Was quiet with a lovely ambience to the place. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and plentiful and not overly priced. Great value for money and set us up for the day nicely food-wise.
