   Friendly teams, working well together, comfy beds with nice linen , bath and shower are modern and work well t, he complimentary cleaning goo is decent and you can see the river from most of the rooms which are big.. Parking no problem. Good selection of drinks in bsr , mini bar and big high res TV in rooms .A delightful peaceful spot Close to Strawberry Hill station, goes to Wsterloo . Special thanks to housekeepers, Well run , professional patient managers. The vanilla ice cream is Championship quality and the breakfast superb. Great chips

   Booked for two nights to get ready for my wedding, and the room was perfect! Super clean, lots of space and lovely bathroom. Food was wonderful in the restaurant, and the staff there were helpful and welcoming. The only let down for our stay was the member of staff on the reception desk. She was unfriendly and made us feel like an inconvenience for trying to check in.

   Our son lives in Twickenham and this is our ‘go to’ hotel when we visit. Great location, clean cosy rooms and friendly efficient staff. We sometimes take our evening meal here and have always been very happy with the quality and choice. Good beers too. On one or two occasions we’ve struggled to get the television to work. It’s not a straightforward system so it can be easier to simply connect to the Internet and use my iPad. Aside this small niggle the hotel is perfect for us and we will continue to use it. Watch the room prices though, they can be very high on certain rugby match days.

   From Norway to watch some rugby. Really wnjoyed our stay here. The location is really nice. We had a east facing room with lovely views over the park next to the Thames. Having the restaurant below is very convenient and the staff really made our meals enjoyable! I would recommend Alexander Pope!

   Although we only stayed for one night, we very much enjoyed our stay. The rooms were lovely and quiet and the staff was extra kind. We arrived 10 minutes before the kitchen closed and the young man at the reception desk put in an order for us while we took our bags upstairs to ensure we had food coming when we came back down to the pub. We will definitely be booking another stay next time we are in the London area.

   Booked a family dinner to celebrate my birthday, plus several rooms for the night. Generally happy with the rooms though for the price breakfast could have been included. Dinner for 16 people was pre-ordered several days in advance as requested which should have meant everyone was served the correct food and at the same time. Not so! There were delays in bringing the meals, missing items, wrong items, we had to chase the staff to bring the missing items. The portions were small, the plates looked uninspired, and generally poor value. Very disappointed.

   I have stayed here a few times and returned recently for the first time in over a year. Overall this is a good hotel with comfortable rooms and a decent breakfast. This together with a decent car park is why I keep coming back. I was pleased to see some positive improvements in my room since I last visited. Firstly the shower controls were much better and I was able to have a really good shower during my stay. Secondly the windows all locked securely, this may seem an odd point to make but it has been an issue in the past and they have clearly made improvements. I was also pleased to see that they have done away with the car park barrier. I used the internet for work during my stay and found it was passable but not great. I would suggest this as an area for future improvement but to be fair is was not bad, just could have been better. Bonus points for refillable soap, shampoo etc!

   We held our wedding reception at this pub and it was amazing! They took care of us through the whole process and the day went perfectly. All our guests commented how lovely of an atmosphere the staff created and no one was ever waiting for a drink / food! The most perfect day at the most perfect venue!!

   Charming, clean and comfortable with gracious and attentive staff. The shower was fabulous. Bus stop right outside, lovely river walk in the park along the Thames opposite this hotel. Train station just a few minutes walk. Shopping and restaurants nearby. Internet was a bit spotty but everything else was great.

   Appalling, dreadful experience & service. Arranged to meet family here last night for some drinks, what a mistake. The staff are unprofessional, unfriendly & rude to say the least. We were sitting chatting & drinking when one of the team started to remove the tealights from each table & it was only 9.30pm. They then decided to call last orders at 10.30 even though they are meant to be open till 11pm. When my niece went to the bar 5 mins after last orders were called she was told she couldn't have any drinks as the till was closed. We spoke to one of the team, who said he was one of the managers and he was quite happy to tell us that it was his decision to close the bar early and it was quite clear that he did not care one bit about customer service. He seemed quite intent in getting finished and it was as if we were inconvenience to him. Also just to mention this guy was also collecting glasses while on a personal call & swearing throughout his conversation. If you want a lesson in how NOT to run a hospitality venue this is the place to go. Needless to say we will not be returning.
