Some staff members were lovely, however the ones I encountered at the till did not leave a good impression on me. I had recycled 5 products to then consequently receive the 500 points voucher (which you only get 5 minutes to use once opened). I had chosen my item and when at the till, opened the voucher. The item cost £13 and the temporary 500 points (which equates to £5 being removed from the total cost of the item) was not considered in the final price. I mentioned this to the staff member and she ended up calling another member of staff over. This process of getting another staff member and being told that I was wrong for thinking it was £5 off - even though this same voucher has worked in another Boots store - took longer than 5 minutes and I lost my voucher and my money off. Very disappointed with the disrespectful attitude a certain staff had to me.

Rude pharmacist. Visited the store for some health products, went to the till which is NEXT to the pharmacy. Waited patiently to be served. Pharmacist huffed and came over to me. Served me. When she was done she strutted off and said to her colleague "next time one of them comes up here we'll send them to the till down there." As if customer service is beneath you? Very rude individual.

I have been visiting this store for a long time, but last Friday I had a very bad experience. An employee, who appeared to be in her 60s, was assisting an elderly lady. I had a question, so I waited for the employee to become available. However, the employee was very rude and told me that she would come to assist me. I waited patiently, but even after she finished with the other customer, she did not come to me. Her behavior made me feel discriminated against, and it appeared to be based on racial judgment. Because of this experience, I do not feel comfortable returning to this store. I believe that judging customers based on their appearance or skin color is unacceptable and not suitable for someone in this role.

Really old / grotty store in desperate need of a refurb. Woefully understaffed with large queues at the pharmacy with only one staff member seemingly working. No self-checkouts anywhere in the store. Lots of shelves empty, a real embarrassment to the boots brand, unsure if this is some sort of franchise and badly run but this store needs some sort of intervention.

This is an excellent store. I have found all the staff that I have encountered here really friendly and helpful and to such an extent that I felt that I wanted to write a review which is not something that I routinely do. I'd particularly like to single out Sunah who strikes me as management and if she is not she certainly should be. She went beyond what I had expected to resolve an issue I'd had where the store wasn't even at fault. That left an impression and I was extremely grateful. They are all great in there and the pharmacy is really efficient and informative too. Can't speak highly enough.

Worst Boots I’ve been to by far! I was told I could bring my guide dog in with me as long as I held her, so i did, so I just asked if I could finish looking quickly as there was something I NEEDED and the lady still told me to leave.

If you need to go to boots go to the one at Princess Alice this one is terrible. Often the shelves are half empty, the staff are extremely rude and useless. The staff won't listen to you when you explain something and the one older lady who works here is very very rude.

Out of stock of item we required but the staffing levels were the best we have seen for ages. We actually found staff member to ask.

The pharmacy staff was very helpful in assisting me with ordering prescriptions from my GP, however they take their time, every time, some make sure you got some free time to wait around. In general this is not the typical Boots you remember; it is a tired store that either needs urgent refurbishment or closing.
