   I use the cattery here. Whilst my cat wouldn't be happy anywhere (he's old and grumpy), he comes back healthy and clearly looked after. The only thing I would like is the offer of afternoon collections and a bank holiday opening. However, I do understand staff deserves, and should have, time off

   Amazing practice! Before deciding on a new vet for my cat, I researched Birmingham vets and their operators. Orchard Vets and their plans help make accessing great support for my pet accessible and not stressful. While the vets are 20 minutes away from where we live, it's worth the journey. They make it simple to understand all costs and the actual service and vets are amazing. Reception is always kind and warm and you can tell that everyone sincerely loves helping animals. I trust my pet in their hands and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new vet.

   Always a good service for my cat, never let me down, lovely people who really care, he needs to have his teeth done, they want £800. to do this, where on earth do they think that as a pensioner i can get this money? I have just paid £75. to have a full set of my teeth refurbished.

   Don’t bother. Vet seemed unwilling to work with and make our nervous golden retriever feel comfortable before deciding he couldn’t be placed on the pal for life scheme and instead would have to be placed on the reduced scheme reserved for bully breeds as he would have to be sedated to be assessed. This is not our experience with our previous vet who took the time to let our dog acclimatise and examined him and actually knows how to handle dogs. The vet at Orchard was visibly scared and jumped every time he barked. Even after putting a muzzle on him and holding him still, she wouldn’t even persevere to check his heart rate. I will be submitting a formal complaint as I’m utterly disgusted with the “service” that was provided today and expect it to be followed up accordingly.

   Thanks to Emma and all the team for operating on my cat Sonic today, after he got into a scrap with a tougher cookie! Genuine appreciation to all staff who help out when I can't manage physically. All the practice nurses and reception team are great and Emma;s skills are fantastic. We've moved home but we're not changing Orchard! It's so hard to find this combination of kindness, professional knowledge, value for money and genuine care for my cats.
