The receptionists have poor communication skills bordering verbal abuse at times and are unprofessional. I have been 5 times because I am on a care plan and had a bad experience all 5 times. Some vets are decent but some seem like even they're not convinced with their management plan. As soon as my plan finishes I will be going elsewhere.

So. I arrived at this veterinary practice and was greeted in a wonderful manner by a very hyper receptionist, who escorted me to a seat and informed me that the Vet that had been informed that I have indeed arrived. The Vet then opened the consultation room door, and walked with me into the room, I was then met by a very energetic Spanish woman who was quite clearly obsessed with my canine companion who is called Belle. She provided a thorough examination whilst talking to her in a VERY high pitched tone of voice. She then administered the vaccine and asked if she could show the rest of the practice what a delightful patient she was, in which I agreed, I then saw my companion being paraded around the practice as some sort of icon. Once returned I headed to reception when a male member of staff (Jacobe) I think his name was, shook my hand and said thank you for being here this morning and thank you for being the wonderful human being you are.

Vets are good, the receptionist service was appalling and abusive. Either train your staff to be professional, or update your system to make it easier for them to work so they aren't moody as giant kids. Especially the girl with braided hair, Charlotte? The owner should consider continuing having her in the job as she was rude on the phone, and worse in person. I believe people from previous reviews have pointed this out as well.

I'd feel safer leaving my pets with Michael Vick. Took my cat to the vet several times over a weekend a couple of months ago. She was listless and had been being sick. Saw a vet, and they said it looked bad, and gave us some stuff to try and treat it after blood tests (didn't have the money to have extensive examination). It didn't work. Took her back four days later as requested and the vet advised us, right there and then, to just put her down as she thought she was not likely to last the day. I thought that was a little odd as my cat was seeming a bit better - she was very anxious in the veterinary practice and her heart-rate was high. The vet suggested we put her down, but we put our foot down instead and said no, we needed to think about it. The vet gave her a pain killer "just in case" she developed pain overnight as she died. She also gave us one to administer at home. The painkiller made us think she WAS dying; I've never seen her so listless, she just stared at the wall, lying on her side for hours, breathing heavily, and we prepared for the worst. Six hours later, cat's back to normal. Absolutely no way I was administering the second dose. Following that, our cat seemed back to normal so we took her elsewhere for examination (White Cross). The vet said there seems like a problem although it could be nothing, but the cat clearly isn't in pain, and there's absolutely no need to put her down. Again she was anxious, but he took that into account. He said we were fine to take her home and treat her as normal as she seemed normal. Two months later, my cat has never been better, but Vets4Pets tried to talk us into executing our beloved cat because we didn't have the money for extensive examination and treatments, and thus just wanted to use the death of our cat to get an extra couple of hundred quid out of us. Vile practice. NEVER trust a vet who puts money over the well-being—even the life—of your beloved pet. Will never go to them again.

Disappointed and upset doesn’t quite cover our experience with this practice. We took our 7 month old kitten to be spayed, we followed the book regarding leaving her cone on and ensuring the site was kept clean. HOWEVER, 3 days later we had to rush to the emergency vets as the site began to open and was extremely infected. Ended up paying just under £300 for this emergency treatment, which covered antibiotics and further opening of the wound to allow the infection out. We were advised to book an appointment again with vets4pets for another check up, the vet was extremely rude and shifted the blame on us, making out it was our fault the infection is present and was highlighted annoyance that the wound was left open taking their frustration out on us. We were then charged a further £200 for staples and further antibiotics. Today I received a phone call from the vet, again shifting the blame on us, she was disgustingly rude and interrupted me throughout. Spoke to me like a child and failed to understand my upset, in fact she was extremely argumentative and unprofessional. I requested advice regarding the complaints procedure, however she was unwilling to assist me. DO NOT GO HERE. We will not be returning and we really do not recommend visiting here, unless you want to pay extortionate amounts of money on a service which is extremely poor and disappointing. Do not risk putting your pets in harm and go somewhere else!

An efficient and professional vaccination appointment. The reception staff were very friendly and Jordan the student veterinary nurse was so helpful and wonderful with my kitten Lola. She is sleeping soundly after her vaccination! Thank you all for your help.

The receptionists helped me book my cat in with ease as she was unwell over the weekend. They are very kind & welcoming. Dr Sze (Sharon) Ching Hsu’s consult with my cat was amazing. She answered all my questions & was so gentle and understanding and really connected with my Cairo in a short amount of time. Really happy & impressed with the service I received today.

Booked my puppy in for a booster and was informed I owed money from a previous visit. At no time during this previous visit was I told I was being charged for another treatment. I paid the consultation fee beforehand and now they’re telling me this is now more so I also owe extra for that. The vet took my dog out the back to check her ears and then brought her back with no mention that she had given her more treatment, I had refused any more treatment because I feel the treatments offered were wholly unnecessary and only offered to obtain more money from me. Will definitely not be returning

Fantastic vets. Every single one of them who work here are great. My cat fractured a bone in her paw and they have been brilliant from the start with fitting us in for an appointment promptly and then with the X-rays etc. Then to top it off they’ve even done our insurance claim for us to take the stress off. My cat has been going here since she was a kitten for her vaccinations, neuter and checkups. Can’t recommend them enough.
