We visited as soon as we heard The Bay Horse had reopened. When we called up the manager was really friendly and accommodating, he found us a quiet little corner for our nervous rescue dog and when I asked about vegan options for food they were more than happy to accommodate. My boyfriend had the steak and ale pie and the chef kindly made up a mushroom and vegan mozzarella flatbread with a side salad, which were all very tasty. We’re looking forward to coming here again.

I had food, drinks, and an overnight stay at The Bay Horse, Goldsborough, and I honestly can’t recommend it enough. I had a fantastic time from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious, the staff were amazing, and the rooms were spotlessly clean and very comfortable.
A special mention to Ben and Keeley – they are excellent people who have done a brilliant job with the pub. It has such a warm, welcoming atmosphere, and it was lovely to see a mix of new and familiar faces from the local village.

Went for a meal with friends who live in the village on a Saturday night (29th November). What was on the menu sounded lovely and 3 of us ordered the Steak and Ale pie. Food arrived quickly thanks to Ben and his young assistant and was excellent, tasty, special mention to Marek the chef and good value for money.
The hosts Ben and Keeley were great, witty and very friendly and who made our visit good fun. My husband and I entered as strangers and felt like we left as locals thanks to you. Hope to see you again next year.

We went to the bay horse for a family dinner. The food was beautiful. Great choice and variety of foods. Lovely atmosphere with a friendly feel. We chatted to other diners. Staff were funny and friendly, no pressure was given to us to leave after we had finished eating. We will definitely be going back. They are dog friend and have a lovely fire :)

The food was good, especially the desserts, but the service was very slow especially as the pub wasn't packed out at all. It took around 40 minutes from ordering to receiving our Sunday roast. We didn't mind as we weren't in a hurry, but that's why the pub doesn't get 5 stars. Other than that, it was excellent.

Stayed for one night travelling with work, the welcome from locals in the bar and all staff made it an absolute pleasure from start to finish.
