   Excellent shop and the owner is so helpful. I go in there a lot and he is always helpful and friendly, I bought some dog coats and I told weight of dog and he found coats that fit perfectly. He will order in what you want but he doesn't stock, also does home delivery. I would urge anyone who owns a pet to use the shop as you will get exceptional service everytine

He gave me a great deal on the items I bought and kindly let me know where the car park is and brought a bulky item out to my vehicle for me. All around great service from this local independent!

   Beat pet shop in Wirral . Always a lovely welcome how are you & a treat for our dog Ted . Very knowledgable always willing to let you try new products . I recently purchase plaque bones as my dog was getting plaque at tje back of his teeth . The lovely owner of the shop suggested I snap them In half as it was cheaper to buy the big pack . If my dog don’t like them I could take them back , support our local shops and give principle pets a visit . We love going every Saturday , for our chat & antler sticks . Very reasonable priced also and you know it’s quality not quantity .

   I really like the cute shop, the cute little layout and the owner is really nice, I do think a good few pieces are over priced and a few pieces are for more luxurious pets than my own, but he makes or at least has a whole I believe handmade section for dogs to get treats you can't get from the bigger pet stores. For that, the really useful owner and the layout, and the fact you can bring in your pet which, on top of the easy location in heaswall makes me think the place deserves 4 stars.

   We have been using Principal Pets since it opened having previously used large chain stores. We wanted a more personal touch when it came to advice with our two dogs. The advice we received regarding our border terriers ear allergies saw him switch to an fish based diet which solved a problem we had spent thousands in vet fees on. Highly recommend

   With a huge selection of everything your pet needs, this is the perfect place for any animal lover. Abbas and Marina are very helpful and knowledgeable and if they don't have something particular in stock, it is quickly ordered for you. Since ive started shopping here, my dog is the picture of health and wont let me pass, without dragging me in!! Call in, your pet will love you for it!
