   Matt is a wonderful surgeon and certainly fixed Roxy up. I have nothing but praise for him picture 1 and 5 week Picture 2 week 10 Had to come back as now it’s 20 weeks and trying to get a check up is diabolical Still waiting for a appointment after a phone call and email This happened last time as well , it’s not like it’s free

   From the reception team to the vets, we truly felt in safe hands throughout our visit. After a string of difficult experiences with our previous vets - including missed findings and misdiagnoses - it was such a relief to be given clear answers and a plan moving forward. We saw Selena, who was incredibly kind, non-judgemental, and thorough. She made me feel both seen and heard, and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. The nurse who discharged us was also wonderful - so patient and happy to go over things (more than once!) to make sure we felt confident leaving. As the owner of a reactive dog, I’m sadly used to facing prejudice and judgment. Dougie has been labelled as “too barky” or “a bit much” before, but your team embraced his quirks and energy without hesitation. It meant the world to feel so supported and understood. The only thing I’m still waiting on is a copy of the report, which I’ve chased a couple of times - but as it’s been less than a week, I completely understand these things can take a bit of time. Thank you again for everything - it was such a positive experience for both of us.

   A great experience at NW vet specialists. Mabel came to see Ed and the team after having a failed operation to rectify an operation when she was 1 year old. Needless to say I was fearing the worst after the experiences we have had. Ed was hopeful a TPLO would work and spent time checking this would be best for her due to her history. As a very over protective dog mum I was understandably anxious about another operation however Mabel was well looked after and was soon home for her recovery journey. We had to attend due to a wound issue and they promptly admitted her for the day and looked after me very well whilst I waited for her. The team have been on hand on the phone when needed for reassurance and the ladies on reception are absolute gems. Mabel is making steady progress and has her spark back after so long struggling. And all being well she will fully recover and be back to her 5am wake ups for her morning long walk. I wish we had been under your care years ago !

   What a fantastic place!! From arrival, where we were warmly greeted by the lovely ladies on reception, to the highly professional, reassuring and highly qualified vets. Our very poorly puppy was treated with care and efficiency and we were very reassured about his care when we had to leave him in the hospital. Today he was at last, discharged to the care of our local vet with a thorough explanation of his condition and treatment. Also the assurance that we can contact Northwest Veterinary Specialists if we have any questions or concerns. Would wholeheartedly recommend.

   What a fantastic place this hospital is. From the wonderful reception staff who put you at ease to the vet nurses day and night who were so kind to me and Apple my dog. They kept me updated when i called in to check on her and talked to me about what Apples favourite food was which they got for her. As it was bonfire night special music was played to all the animals to keep them calm. Most of all my massive thanks go to Luca who worked his magic on Apples tiny spine and did an amazing job getting her back walking again. Each morning Luca would call with a progress report this was such a good thing as you always new your fur baby was being so well cared for.This really is a five star hospital for your fur babies with better treatment than human private care. I cant thank you all enough. Apple is doing very well and continues to improve. Best wishes to you all.

   Although a little out of my way they where well worth traveling too. They worked out the best way to use my insurance to get what I needed done for my pug. The day of the initial appointment the surgeon(matt I think it was) rang me after I got home, explained all my options and got me booked in for the day after. The entire team was fantastic, the nurse who I had the face to face appointment with, the reception staff and the surgeon himself. Although there was some minor scabbing in the area the incision was practically invisible. It was hard to even see the stitches. Amazing work, amazing staff and my boy is doing fantastic nearly a year later. The price was probably somewhat normal for what we had to have done including the medication but it's obvious to see they have the facilities and they have the staff and their work speaks for its self. 5/5 from me.

   What an amazing place this is. So thankful to have been referred to them when my pet had a spinal injury. They acted quickly and skilfully in treating her for a disc injury and she is now on the road to recovery. Can't recommend them highly enough, Diego and his team have been absolutely brilliant, keeping me posted daily on Tilly's progress. Five stars aren't enough!
