Unfortunately we had no option but to leave this practice, after booking my dog in for a scale and polish, only to be told that he needed most of his teeth out and it would cost £915. Second opinion at an alternate very reputable vets confirmed that he had just 2 wobbly teeth and no other teeth needed removing. Scale and polish done with 2 teeth removed costing just £300. It is one thing trying to make money, but it is quite another when you would have returned my dog with barely any teeth un-necessarily. Very upsetting experience and I feel saddened that on this occasion money was the focus and not my dogs welfare.
We have always had good service from the excellent vets and staff at Grange Vets. They looked after our two Labradoodles for over 15 years and they loved going there. Professional and caring vets and staff.
Would recommend this vets to anyone. I have been in several times with my dog and the service is impeccable from the reception team right through to the vets. My dog isn’t the easiest of patients and they deal with him so well and accept that he’s a character. Would not go anywhere else with animals now!
Fantastic vets, I really can't fault them. Really kind people, all medical staff and front of house. Never waiting on the phone long, if at all, and then appointments are readily available too. On top of this they're really reasonable when it comes to price, and incredibly knowledgeable and good at explaining things to you. Have had great care for all three of my little chumps when they've ended up there.
Dogs were handled well by the vet when we took them for jabs even though they were on a hypo. Great that they give you a bleeper when it's your turn to come in so you can sit in the car with the dogs.
Gave my son a lift here following an op on his puppy's shoulder to repair a fracture. An anxious wait but the op successful with excellent aftercare and advice from the staff. Appointments were on time and well organised
After an collision with a van I made a emergency visit to grange vets in mold who I wasn't registered with at the time. My words cannot describe how much they helped my boy. Being ready to take him in as soon as I pulled up outside. They were amazing at calming myself down and the level of care they showed not only for my dog but by keeping myself regularly informed of his condition and progress was outstanding. I can never thank them enough for what they have done at that horrible time. Thankfully 48hrs was all he needed in there and is now back home recovering well with his big brother again. Thankyou to absolutely everyone involved in that veterinary practice.
Dougie was very poorly and needed surgery. With professional and loving care by Grange vets he has made a full recovery and is back home with his family. The communication while this was going on was fabulous and we had regular updates on Dougie's progress. We were isolating due to Covid-19 so Nicky got us on to a video call so we could see our little boy, which was really thoughtful. I would like to thank Nicky and everyone involved in his recovery. Thank you ❤
