   Dr. Anna has given us the tools to work with our reactive dog. We are now able to go on walks at a closer distance to other dogs and children and we are working on a seperation anxiety programme.

   We are currently working with Dr. Anna Muir at Forests & Fetch in regard to Willow, our adopted (5 year old) Golden Retrievor. When Willow first came to us it was clear that she needed further training in several respects i.e socialising with people, other dogs, vehicles / bicycles etc. With Anna's help and guidance Willow is now calmer and obedient when she is out and about on her walks. In fact, we are so impressed with the results of the first training session with Anna, we intend to undertake further sessions soon.

Her calm approach worked wonders, with noticeable improvement after the first lesson.    Really glad we took our lovely lab puppy to Anna. We’d had so much conflicting information about how we should deal with the bad behaviour our pup was showing. Jumping at us and biting. Anna helped us understand the reasons behind his behaviour, and as a result to better manage his behaviour. She also worked one to one with him and has given us the confidence to continue his training at home. Thank you so much.

   If you are thinking about getting a puppy or already have one, I can't recommend Forests & Fetch Happy Puppy, and Group Puppy Classes highly enough! When our puppy first arrived we felt very overwhelmed with how to deal with her behaviour and how best to train her. We initially signed up to the Happy Puppy class, and Anna came to our house once a week for one-on-one training sessions to help us train our puppy. It honestly felt like a weight lifted, Anna took the time understand where we were in our training journey and identified the key areas of focus. Each week she would tailor the training based on how much progress had been made from the week before and any new issues that had arisen since, really catering the needs to of the puppy and us. She followed up each session with a recap email to remind us what to focus on and how to go about it. We also signed up to the weekly Puppy Classes run by Forests & Fetch to go alongside our one-to-one sessions to give our puppy a chance to socialise with other puppies and re-enforce the training. Doing this along side the one-to-one sessions really helped us and the puppy. At the end of the 6 weeks we are amazed at the progress our puppy has made, her behaviour and engagement has really improved and she is a happier puppy because of it. I feel as though we are better owners as well.

   The training gave us lots of useful ideas and really built up our confidence in managing our new excitable and energetic puppy. Every session was followed up with an email detailing everything we'd gone through in the training session - very helpful when there's so much to take in! We would really recommend Anna - she's made a big difference to us despite how mad our puppy looks in the photo!

   We can't recommend Forests & Fetch highly enough! We've had 6 weeks of 1:1 support for our pup, Indie and it's made such a huge difference for both her and us. Indie has come on leaps and bounds and it's all down to Anna's expertise. She's been so patient with all of us and we're incredibly grateful. Indie is so much happier and more confident & we're looking forward to more training in the New Year.

   Forests and Fetch/ Anna has provided 1:1 training in our home for our puppy pre vaccinations and in the local area and home post vaccinations. And we’ve also attended a 6 week puppy class. It has been a really great experience for us, we had no experience of having a dog (never mind a puppy!) before and Anna’s knowledge has been invaluable. The training has been responsive to our needs and we’ve seen so much progress. The follow up advice and session notes by email has been really helpful. We’ve booked another set of classes to continue our learning journey.

   Highly recommend Forests & Fetch service; our very lively Vizsla loves his walks with Anna - he is always pleased to see her, and we find him happily snuggled up in his bed after a stimulating walk with her. It is reassuring to know he is in such good hands when we are not able to give him exercise and company for work or other reasons. Totally recommend Forests & Fetch to take care of your 4-legged family member.
