I've been super keen to visit here for ages but it's an hour away from me. However, I took a diversion on the way home from Llyn Brenif today and found myself here! Ordered a cheese and onion chutney with chips, wow, portions are generous, served with loads of salad, coleslaw and crisps, all of it was lovely! Just what I needed after a freezing cold day walking. The fabric / yarn store is a sight to behold, so much choice, and inspiration! I've finally managed to sort some colours and yarn to get started on my next project. Staff were lovely and friendly, I can't wait to visit again!

Abakhan Fabrics, Hobby & Home – Abakhan in Mostyn is an absolute gem for anyone who loves sewing, crafts, or creative projects. The choice of fabrics is amazing — there’s everything from beautiful dress materials to upholstery fabrics, yarns, ribbons, and so much more. I could spend hours browsing! The staff are always welcoming and really knowledgeable. They’re happy to help you find exactly what you need, whether you’re working on a small craft project or a big sewing job. The remnant section is brilliant too — great quality fabrics at fantastic prices. The site itself is lovely, set in a scenic part of North Wales with plenty of parking and a great café that serves delicious food and drinks. It’s such a nice place to visit — you can shop, relax, and make a real day of it. I’d definitely recommend Abakhan in Mostyn to anyone who enjoys fabrics, crafts, or a bit of creative inspiration. It’s one of those places you’ll want to return to again oy because the Duke of Lancaster is down the road its a .Just see

Stopped for a coffee and cake break. Coffee was self service machine produced and very disappointing but the cakes were good. We walked down the coastal path to see the Duke of Lancaster which is dry docked nearby

Brilliant place to visit/search for if your into crafts, upholstery or making/designing your own clothes. There is plenty of variety in materials & fabrics to suit all tastes. The building itself has also been very lovingly looked after considering it must be of some age. It's well worth searching out if any of the aforementioned is your thing/hobby. There's also a large sized cafe just next door, so you can really spend a good few hours here between both. Just be aware of the full English breakfast, please refer to my other review on that. Although hopefully someone has read it and has addressed the issue/s before you attend this overall lovely venue.

Dropped into see Abakhan. Great little company that has stood the test of time . From hobby suppliers to fabrics. Onsite cafe and gift shop. Ample free parking and on site they have a car boot sale. All the staff are extremely friendly and helpful so I would recommend here if you are looking for a variety fabrics to use for your home furnishing projects. Abakhan has a great history of affordable fabrics that is coupled together with a making up service.

Wide range of fabric in former mill. The largest Abarkan I believe, and company Head Office. Which might be why some of the prices were a little higher than other Abakhans. A mix of staff. Some talked amongst themselves not noticing folk waiting to be served/helped. But a couple were really helpful and friendly. Interesting other businesses near by. So could make a day trip of going if not local.

Good place for fabric wool and haberdashery, prices are very good, and if you've never been before you may be surprised to find fabric sold by weight and not yards , there's some real bargains for anyone who likes to sew , knitting and crochet are also well catered for, as are many other crafting hobbies, I'd say visit if you can and you like a bargain.
