So glad we found this restaurant. Wish we lived closer and could go more often. The shredded chilli beef is SO good!!

Last night I had the weirdest and unfriendliest restaurant experience Iβve had in a long time. We arrived for dinner at Kweilin hungry and tired and pulled out a game of Uno while we waited for our meal. We were in a corner table, not making noise, just having a quiet family game. A member of staff - Joanna - came over and told us that we had to stop as they donβt have an entertainment licence. I tried to tell her that it was just Uno, no betting, nothing to do with entertainments but she insisted they donβt have a licence for it, I need to look it up. I tried to discuss this with her further but she just walked off. She came back with our food and I told her I wanted to discuss this with her further. She tried to tell me to look it up again but I asked for her email so I could follow up the conversation after checking, like sheβd said. She refused to give one for herself - βIβm just a staff memberβ, fair enough - or a manager - βyou can look up an email for the restaurant onlineβ. Her attitude was both bizarre and dismissive. We ate our meal, she cleared the plates away and thatβs it. No one checked if the food was ok. No one offered us dessert. No one offered us the bill. We felt pretty much written off which was a shame after spending money to feed a family of four. We left passing several members of staff, including Joanna, and none thanked us for our custom except one cursory call behind us from a gentleman at the till as the door closed behind us. I canβt fault the food - it was OK. By the way, I have looked up entertainment licensing in Scotland - with zero referencing to family card games in a restaurant setting (or anything remotely like it) Iβm still utterly perplexed as to what she was going on about.

We had a FANTASTIC dinner experience. Ting Ting was our waitress. We had such fun with her! She looked after us so well. The food was well-presented and so tasty.

Delicious authentic Cantonese. The xiao long baos are to die for, as well as the chicken satay. I could go on, but it would take me all night. Banana fritters are also great!

Was treated to this place and was thoroughly impressed. Food was amazing, fresh hot and very tasty. Staff were friendly and attentive. The environment is quiet and comfortable, if anything maybe a but closed in but that doesn't hinder the experience. Thanks for lovely meal and a great evening.

The salt&pepper ribs were tasty but hardly any meat on them, the garlic and chilli beef was inedible, we have threw almost all of it away. I was actually surprised because the chinese people tenderise all their meat (including chicken). We also got a Szechuan chicken, which was nice. The stir fry noodles were ok, nothing more. I have specifically asked to be cooked with sesame seed oil, they said yes but they didn't do it.

The food is good, clean if that makes sense. Not too oily, not overly packed with salt, sugar or msg. The ingredients are good quality. It's better than most in the area but the takeaway prices are high. I was Β£30 for 3 standard mains with no sides. I'd expect this to be closer to Β£20. Realistically, I will be back but I will be handing over my cash grudgingly.

Amazing restaurant. The staff are fantastic, friendly and helpful. The food is devine! I cannot recommend this place highly enough. They also have a Chinese menu which offers traditional Chinese dishes.

Decent place but nothing very special. Friendly service but not overly so (although the waitress from Georgia is very charming) Foods good but not exceptional. I give it four stars as it's survived in this city for god knows how many years.
