   Absolutely stunning food with such a gorgeous and varied menu that it was difficult to decide what to have! The service is always second to none, with wonderful ambiance and beautiful attention to detail in decor. My only criticism is that the restaurant isn't entirely vegan, otherwise I would go more often!

   Celebrated our son’s Graduation Day here last Monday and we all had a wonderful time. Couldn’t fault anything. Food was delicious, well presented and extremely filling! The pastry chef even makes dog biscuits for the canine guests. We will definitely be dining here again. Staff are very accommodating and friendly. Excellent service. Thank you for making the day special.

   We came here on our honeymoon and absolutely loved it! The food is astonishing (we’ve been vegetarian for over a decade and haven’t found a restaurant this abundant and diverse in choice) and the lovely waitresses were so welcoming! Thank you for a magical dinner :)

   I had a very nice meal here this evening! For starters we enjoyed the nibbles board and then really really loved the cullen skink (a highlight)! We just went for a bottle of house white wine but that impressed too. For our mains we tried the haggis and the lions mane steak which were alright but the dishes weren’t as refined as they could be, with the ‘whisky sauce’ for the haggis definitely missing a bit of whisky, and the quinoa of the lions mane dish feeling a bit random. We still really enjoyed our meal and left full and happy with great service as well (forgot our waitress’s name but we were sat on the underground level and she was lovely!). We will hopefully return on our next visit to Edinburgh and look forward to what they do next.

   We were a party of six having a special celebration dinner felt treated like royalty by our server… personable, attentive and much attention to detail. The food was exceptional as were the cocktails! This was food that would reverse many people’s perception that vegan/vegetarian food is bland and stodgy! Unusual and imaginative dishes that we would not have thought of.

   A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!! Highly recommended! Henderson is one of our latest discovered gems in the city. Watching the vegetarian/vegan scene growing fast in Edinburgh, we wanted to give it a try and go away from the more mainstream cuisines. First interaction was over the phone as I tried to book a table last minute on a Saturday. The gentleman over the phone (name Barry) was very helpful and he helped us with providing alternatives to get us a table. Getting there, we were very positively impressed of how friendly were all the people working there. Coming to the food, I would easily say that we were highly impressed! The quality of the dishes and the combination of flavours were so spot on! We were a mixed group of vegetarians and non-vegetarians and we all were commenting positive our dishes and sides. Personality as a non-vegetarian, I was highly surprised by the fact the I didn't miss at all the lack of non-vegetarian ingredients. I will be most definitely going back and highly recommending the place. Give it a try and you will definitely will not be disappointed. P.S. Thank you Barry and all the Henderson team for the beautiful night.

   Food is excellently prepared and presented, with an impressive range of creations with tastes and textures to delight the palate of the visitor. The service is prompted and friendly. Both mains and desserts are well described in the menus, a real problem in Vegan restaurants in general. Cocktails are a delight. When serving a table with a dip it would be nice for all present to get a slice of bread. The ceiling is amazing.

   Had an amazing dinner here. Food was lovely, especially the Camembert, cauliflower wings and honestly the best chips I have ever had. Will definitely return. Our server was so friendly as well. Highly recommend

   Great experience! The staff was very friendly, cheerful and very festive! We had 2 main courses - veg haggis and nut roast, 2 starters - cauliflower wings and the camembert, and the rainbow salad from their holiday menu. Everything was very tasty, but the cauliflower wings were absolutely amazing! Definitely recommended. Not very expensive and great atmosphere.
