I recently placed an order with this establishment, and unfortunately, the food arrived late and was cold. Furthermore, when I contacted them to express my concerns, I was disappointed by the poor customer service and the lack of any apology. Won't be ordering again. Stay well clear!!
I used to purchase from here all the time until their driver did a hit and run to both mine and my neighbours car, owner of the takeaway was informed and lied it wasn't one of his usual drivers and took no accountability even though we have the car reg and details and see the car parked outside the takeaway all the time. Lost a customer as I won't be back, not just because of the wreckless driver but also cause of the owner who can't take accountability and lied he'd contact if the 'random driver that was vetted through online groups' would return. Food wasn't all that either.
Got two rice dishes with three different sauces, korma, unknown and then the south Indian. Had a proper mini buffet at home, each sauce was unique and different, good variety. Delivery came on time and okay price.
What an absolute shambles of a place. Phoned up and ordered a mixed WRAP for pick up. Went to collect and guy gave me the food and forgot to even charge me. Came clean and told him I hadn’t paid. Price was different than what it was on the phone. But cheaper so didn’t really care. Got home to a naan bread broken into bits unable to eat as a wrap! Stuff falling out everywhere. The whole point of a wrap is to WRAP IT UP… anyway went back to get my money back and the guy who served me decided he didn’t want to speak to me so walked away on the phone leaving me standing at the desk for 5 mins before I managed to get a hold of some other guy (who was really nice, American guy new to the place). They Didn’t know how much they had charged me to refund, no one was wanting to speak to me, ended up walking away with what I think was the right amount but unsure as the new guy had to deal with it. Food looked rotten was packed with onions.

just had chicken Tikka Zaykedaar, fried rice, vegetable paratha and small veg pakora, absolutely delicious and plenty for 2 people, would 100% use again
What a disaster. Placed home delivery at 10.32 but even after a chase-up call my order didn't arrive until nearly 1 and a half hours later...l on a Wednesday evening! Also, the delivery driver was cheeky. Food was average and I won't be ordering again.
I placed my order via the just eat website at 2050 hours on Wednesday 25/8/2020 from Curry Mahal .I was given an estimated delivery time of 2140 hours. By 2215 hours I still hadn't received it so I phoned the restaurant. They told me it was out for delivery and to give it 15 more minutes. I told then I would give it 15 more minutes and then cancel the order. By 2235 hours the order still hadn't arrived so I used the Just Eat app Chat to cancel it only to be told that the curry mahal had marked the order as complete (delivered) and I couldn't cancel it! was told by the agent that Just eat are going to investigate it.The delivery driver subsequently turned up at 2300 hours. By this time everybody was in bed and I told the delivery driver to take his order and leave. I have phoned the restaurant since then to get my money back but they say nobody there knew about it. It's bad enough the order was well over an hour late, but marking the order as delivered when it clearly wasn't to avoid cancellation is very underhand. This is further compounded by them refusing to refund me! Please keep this in mind when ordering from them.
Keep up the good work guys, ordered on Sunday and all the food was excellent. To many curry places open start well then let standards slip hope this does not happen to curry Mahal. If I had 1 slight criticism that being, food was late and delivery driver could learn to smile and say at the very least a thank you for his tip.
