Great value restraunt in the city centre. Would advise booking, like we did as the restraunt is fairly small. Staff were great. Very efficient at taking orders and serving. The food itself was of a very good standard. I'd definitely recommend eating in this authentic Italian restraunt than in a restraunt chain.
Excellent food and great service. Macaroni, Camembert bites and meatball spaghetti. All were excellent, good portions and prepared really well. We were there prior to a show and the place got really busy but the staff were flying about making sure everyone was attended to. Price is decent as well. Great little spot, will definitely be back.
Mrs. A & I found this place by chance when looking for a late lunch. Their lunch time specials are great & their menu varied. We enjoyed lunch & a bottle of Pinot in a very quaint Italian atmosphere - SPA007
I really enjoyed my lunch @ Amalfi’s, had the pasta meatballs and a coffee as dessert. I read some comments about the staff being rude, not true. They might look a bit grumpy at first but were kind and funny (as a solo customer I was very well treated). Restaurant is small but cozy, something I like in a big city. Next time in Glasgow I’d surely come back!
My friend took me for lunch and I was skeptical at first. I have probably passed by that place a 100 times. Little did I know I would be pleasantly surprised. We had lasagna and meatballs ( which I was too hungry and distracted to take a pic of) it was simply the most amazing meal I have had in Glasgow. So authentic, so fresh and so refreshing. We loved the food so much we decided we wanted to share a Pizza aswell it was all perfection! We had garlic bread for the table and their fresh home made Teramisu. I would recommend this place a 100x You will not be disappointed for sure!
Tried out this place on a visit to Glasgow with my daughter. It has amazingly friendly staff and a lovely welcoming atmosphere. We both ordered pizza and sadly my daughter's margarita was over cooked as the cheese had started turning brown. My ham pizza was incredibly dry, there was very little cheese and even less tomato sauce. We ate what we could, paid and left. They seem to offer a real variety of Italian dishes and many of the other diners seemed very happy, but our pizza experience was a miss. Would maybe try again but order one of the delicious looking pasta dishes.
Good recommendation from hotel Doesn't look much from outside but has alot of history attached. Stars from the past appearing in music Hall or theatres would use amalfi to eat at. Pictures adorn walls and brief history . It is small inside and more akin to a cafe but service knowledgeable..friendly..and interested in us turning up at 21.30!! Extensive menu..all freshly cooked..reasonably priced. Mussels as starter excellant. Stroganoff Good to as main. Quirky...menu had various dine early options or two or three course options. Predominantly Italian. Not fine dining but good wholesome home cooked food.
Excellent food, service and ambience in this lovely wee Italian restaurant. Definitely be back next time in Glasgow!
A hidden gem in Central Glasgow. Classic food, unintimidating environment with lovely staff attending to your needs. Priced in a fair manor (supplements in use depending on complexity of dishes and ingredients)... Definitely worth a try!
It’s very difficult to find good eat out eats in such a big city. Came across Amalfi during a random walkouts. Cute little place. I love their chicken lasagna.. Loved their chicken wings in homemade tomato sauce.. yum!
