I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner here. On a busy Friday night when most places were fully booked, we were accepted as walk-ins. The decor is very cute. As vegetarians, we found good meals without fish or beef. The staff was very kind. I wish they offered more add-ons for the noodle soups, such as eggs and extra tofu. Nonetheless, everything we had was tasty.

We really enjoyed our dinner at Pho Viet. The stir-fried vegetable noodles were delicious, and the ambience felt authentically Vietnamese with lanterns and soft, dim lighting. Friendly prices, great flavour—excellent value and a must-visit.

Edinburgh dinner surprise! I was in Edinburgh for a short overnight stay before an early morning flight to Hamburg. From my hotel window, I spotted a small Vietnamese pho restaurant and decided to give it a try. Pho isn’t something I can cook at home, so whenever I find a Vietnamese restaurant nearby, I always go for it. Just a 5-minute walk later, I was sitting down with a beef pho and coconut water. To my surprise, the order arrived in under 2 minutes — and I was done with dinner by 6:15pm! Fastest restaurant meal I’ve ever had (fast food included!) — and the quality wasn’t compromised one bit. The pho was flavorful, comforting, and delicious. Highly recommend if you’re in Edinburgh and craving Vietnamese food.

The prawn pho has aromatic soup. The spring rolls are crispy and the sauce go together really nicely. A chia drink is also nice

Delicious legit vietnamese food in the city. I love the fresh spring rolls. The staff who served us were very kind too.

As a Vietnamese who just been living abroad roughly 7 months, I give this pho 10/10. The taste is authentic, big portion and raw beef are so tender. I prefer this place order the other one I visited with same menu (different name though). It’s a bit pricey for me, but it seems standard in Edinburgh.

Second time at Pho Viet and both times had nice experience! I got the Hue with raw beef and it was delicious. The broth was flavourful with just the right amount of spice. Tasty food, cute decor, and the waitresses were really friendly too. Plenty choice on the menu for starters, noodle soups and curries. Would recommend for anyone in Haymarket after some Vietnamese that’s well priced!

Listen, as an East Asian, I will tell you this place though tasted of cheap ingredients, they are however the best among the ‘cheap Asian restaurants’ in the west. Problem is, they’re way overpriced. We ordered via Ubereats delivery. Won’t return again. Dishes: - ‘Hanoi’s Khuc-Xoi Khuc’ tasty. It’s like one of those rice dim sum I had in Hong Kong or mainland China. 粿子?粽?something chewy like mochi in the middle, also egg yolk and just yummy. - ‘Vermicelli with spring roll and grilled meat- Bun Cha Gio Thin Nuong’ It’s not bad, like I said, cheap ingredients but they tasted nice enough. ‘Hanoi Braised Fish- Ca Kho Ha Noi’ Oh boy.. £15 for this dish but the soup tasted so weird in a leaky packaging, the fish tasted cheap as well.. just bad.

Since Pho is the main course and starship of Vietnamien foods and this restaurant’s, I rate 3 star for this Viet restaurant. The soup is decent, but the beef is not soft or infused with flavours. Fish cakes are recommended and authentic. Overall too expensive for its flavours. Would not visit again.
