Tempo Perso was an incredible find for authentic Italian food. The dishes were fresh and delicious, and the rustic, charming atmosphere made for a perfect dining experience. It's a must-visit for any foodie in Edinburgh!
Tempo Perso is an underrated gem in Morning Side. They offer authentic Italian cuisine. The pasta selection is impeccable, i recommend the ravioli with ricotta and spinach. The atmosphere is amazing, with high ceilings and unique decor. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive. Overall, I had an excellent dining experience here and I’ll definitely be back!
If this were my local Italian restaurant, I would never move from Bruntsfield. This was my second visit and once again, I was blown away with both the food, service and just brilliant house wine. Food highlights were the Arancino and the Polpette; so so good. My friend had the Bruschetta which was as authentic Italian as you will get in the UK. I never made it to desert I was so full.. Service was very friendly and welcoming, I really could not ask for more. Put it this way, I have been to the sister restaurant near Atina in Italy and it was a very similar experience. A true gem of an Italian restaurant in every respect.
Service never fails to be amazing . Portion sizes are huge at a very reasonable price. Wine was a little warm when served to us but otherwise faultless. Very fast service too. Located in a lovely area of Edinburgh with bars one can go to before. Would recommend booking in advance as it’s been busy every time we’ve gone there.
Wow! What an amazing restaurant. Food was fantastic, portion was great and plenty of prawns in the prawn pasta! The bottle of wine we wanted was sold out, but our fantastic waiter recommended us a different bottle at the same price. Staff were fantastic, would love to come back here.
My partner and I had a date night here and it was so lovely. Staff were attentive and the menu had lots of choice. I ended up with a prawn lemon spaghetti dish and he had a pizza. I had both a white wine and a dessert one and they were both lovely! Great atmosphere, would recommend.
Excellent quality products. Very kind and helpful staff. Natural flavours and traditional Italian cuisine are a plus for the restaurant. Balanced taste and lot of choice for starters and mains. I use to book take away ,never disappointed about it. I recommend a visit and I suggest to try Arancino starter, simply delicious and tasty. Prices ,on average, are very adequate considering the quality. Keep up the good job! Complimenti!
This was simply sensational and in reality around £40-45 per person based on six people. So much food for this price and the quality was fantastic. Starters and sides and main courses! Pale rose wine which was delicious and the staff were very attentive. Pasta at its finest! Takes American Express.
Absolutely outstanding food. We live nearby and this was our first time here together. The food is fantastic and the wine was excellent and we had a great meal. 5 stars+
Amazing food, so tasty! We came on a date and all the waiters were lovely and attentive. I tried muscles for the first time and they had a wonderful sauce. Would highly recommend if you like Italian food!
