If you’re looking for a spot that serves up delicious, late-night eats, look no further than burrito and shake. This place specializes fusion of food, and they do it exceptionally well. The standout for me has to be the falafel burrito. Packed with flavorful, perfectly crispy falafel, fresh veggies, and just the right amount of sauce, it's a burrito that hits all the right notes. The size is generous, ensuring you get your fill, but not so overwhelming that you can't finish it. Not only is the food tasty, but the prices are also incredibly reasonable, especially given the quality and portion sizes. It's the perfect spot for a late-night bite, with doors open till late to satisfy those after-hours cravings. Whether you're in the mood for a hearty burrito or a creamy shake to wash it down, this place has you covered. Highly recommend!

Quite a pricey place for the kind of food it serves. There are street food / other establishment that serve similar offerings for a much lower price. OK place for a late night snack I guess? We bought a large Crispy Chicken Burrito for £11.5. We were supposed to get unlimited fillings / toppings, but I think you have to stay to tell them what to put. The chicken serving was quite generous though. Taste wise it was pretty good, though we weren’t expecting it to taste of curry.

This is the second time my friend and I are getting burritos from here and we LOVE it. We were really confused by the negative reviews we saw! I’ve been getting the shredded chicken burrito, and she (a vegetarian) gets the veg option. Can’t speak for other menu items, but the burritos are delicious and so chonky. Personally I struggle to finish it in one sitting but even if you’ve got a bigger appetite, they’d fill you up. We got it as takeout too and they’re still great. Such a great supper option too because they’re open till so late on most days — a rarity for food places in Edinburgh!

Ordered a delivery took 2 hours to arrive. Nachos soggy, cold and bland, very small portion for price. Had tomatoes on it instead of salsa, wrong item. The sour cream was congealed and tasted terrible. Very low quality beef used, with stringy bits of fat and again no flavor. Not worth 7 pounds. Milkshakes tasted okay but not labeled so had no idea which was which of the two. Cost over 30 pounds for one portion of nachos, one burrito and 2 milkshakes. Wont be ordering from here again, very poor food quality, portion sizes and service. I’d recommend going somewhere else

Took the grandkids here after going to the Festival Theatre. One likes most kinds of food but the youngest is very picky so she had chicken nuggets and chips. Beef burrito and chicken burrito was really good. Eldest had Nachos. All happy. Ice cream for desert so grandkids loved it. Most of the food comes packaged pretty much to go so great if in a rush.

I’m really disappointed on how my favourite restaurant changed during the years, yesterday was my last shoot there, I ordered a lot of items starting with nachos and they gave me them on a rectangular tray the nachos were on the bottom and I had to get my fingers all the way deep to get them, the cheese was not melt, I wanted to use sauces but i was very limited, I used to enjoy having a big variety of sauces placed at the entrance, the tacos were okay but they gave me a little bit of guacamole even tho i request a lot, my gf burrito bread wasn’t cooked, the milkshakes were okay and also the chips but the churros were bad some of them had chocolate others no, I think is better if we could deep them on chocolate instead of having chocolate on top, the food was pricey but it was never a problem since it used to be amazing. This place used to be my favourite the meat will taste amazing mixed with the cheese in a round tray rather than a rectangle one and the nachos where places on the sides and the food on the middle, I left the place very disappointed knowing is the only Halal place where I can eat tacos or nacho, The staff was very friendly but the food was not what I expected, I truly hope to be back if it changes as it was, Sorry for the review hopefully this review makes a change. Thank you very much.

Loved it!! Huge portions sizes and the workers were helpful and accommodating. When I asked for extra salsa they were happy to give me a portion. I had the veg burrito; it was tasty and filling. Definitely somewhere I'm going to visit again during our stay in Edinburgh.

Always a favourite!!! Been meaning times and will continue to visit ... Good food, not too expensive and fast service, most importantly it's tasty and very filling. Nice to eat a halal mexican. Staff are always nice here and there is ample seating.

Good tasting food in large portions. We ordered the chili nachos, which is easily large enough for 2-3 people. We also had the crispy chicken burrito and a chicken quesadilla, both of which tasted very good. The staff were friendly and the service quick, with plenty of seating for all group sizes.
