Loved the Bacon, cheese, and Chicken dish. Food was plentiful, cocktails were amazing, only critique is salads and soup came out same time as main course. The Chocolate Hazelnut torte was delicious as well! Good price point. Try this place out!
I went to lunch there before taking the train back home. Service was good, the waitresses are nice and kind. The food was excellent, the meat was perfectly cooked and the sauce was tasty. I recommend to go there if you're hungry. Portions are big too, so have that on consideration before taking an appetizer, because you may have no more appetite for the main course
The steak was very average. Sadly that's the best thing about the place. The interior is quite classy but they have a staff problem. 3 or 4 of them were just hanging about at the end of the bar, chatting loudly and being rude. One of them swore (the F word) and various tables heard. Many also commented on the appearance of people walking past on the street multiple times.
My first dinner in Edinburgh was at Bilbos Superb food Large portions of fish and chips and tried Haggis , the national dish of Scotland for the first time Had the Guinness and cranberry tea Great service Highly recommended
The haggis burger was very tasty and the fries were also great. Nice location with comfortable seating
The food was a fast service, bu5 its been about 4 hours, and it's repeating on me. The staff were fast with delivery. Not invasive, plenty of time to enjoy a meal. I would like to give them a second chance, as the menu is reasonably priced.
The best burger with blue cheese sauce I've ever had! Staff is really nice and friendly. The place is split in 2 parts, foodies on one side of the bar and drinkers with the stage and live music on the other so you can hear the music but it is not too loud to bother any conversations. Atmosphere is great as you can enjoy your food and conversations while listening to the live music.
