   We had a wonderful dining experience at Mantra Indian Restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the chicken tandoori and paneer chilli gravy—both were authentic, full of true Indian flavours, and genuinely mouth-watering. What impressed us even more was that my son, who is usually very choosy with food, enjoyed the meal thoroughly. The service was exceptional—friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout. I would certainly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic Indian food in Bath.

   went here with my partner for his birthday, probably the LOVELIEST place to go!!! we were sat on the terrace and received all of our food and drinks within 20 minutes of arriving which in my opinion, having been to a few restaurants in Bath, is second to none. Not to mention the friendly and lovely staff, would 100% go here again, i’m now tempted to say i won’t find a better place for an indian meal!! thankyou very much guys xx

   We recently visited Mantra Indian Restaurant in Bath and had a lovely dining experience. The food was delicious – we tried the Hyderabadi chicken, which was flavorful, tender, and mildly spiced, making it perfect for those who prefer a gentler heat. The overall setting was warm and inviting, adding to the enjoyable atmosphere. However, there were a couple of downsides that kept it from being a five-star experience. The portion sizes felt a bit small for the price, particularly the starters, which didn’t quite justify the cost. Additionally, the service charge was added to the bill without being mentioned, which we would have appreciated being informed about in advance. Overall, the food quality and ambiance were excellent, but with slightly larger portions and clearer communication on service charges, it could easily be a top-tier restaurant. We’d still recommend it for a tasty and pleasant Indian meal in Bath.

   Great food, though spiciness is totally random. Definitely a cut above, but sadly the service is absolutely appalling. They are obviously incapable of learning, as this complaint goes way back in their reviews. They also had a terrible hygiene rating, but I see that's been muchly improved after a very recent inspection. We might eventually give it another try, but past experiences put us off every time we consider it (and it's quite local to us).

   Came in for a dine-in meal. My first impressions weren't great as the table was too short to comfortably sit at. I'm slim and about 6ft but the only way to sit at the table was to wedge the top of my thighs under it, so not comfortable. My "mild" lamb chop starter was not mild, it was hot. My king prawn curry however was truly delicious - one of the best I've had. Service was good, as was overall menu food/drink choice. On a different occasion, I'm sure it could be a 4 or 5 star but regrettably I can only give a 3 based on my last visit.

   Mantra is amazing! Definitely our favourite Indian restaurant in Bath! The food is to die for, and served generously. The house was very busy and because of that made the few staff clearly overloaded. Nevertheless the girls were absolutely amazing and delivered a great service, always friendly and patient.

   1. Friendly and brilliant staff. 5 star service. 2. The mixed grill is really good. 3. Food very nicely presented. 4. Nice location and very well decorated. Amazing view outside in the Summer. 5. Food could be more Spicy. 6. No Kingfisher (sorry VM fans) only Cobra Draught beer.
