Nice canal side licensed cafe. Came here for breakfast , very busy. 1 amazing server presume owner doing everything herself- admirably has to be said. This is Rachel's Britain where hospitality cant afford p/t weekend workers thanks to NI raises etc? Anyway- good vegan breakfast, absolutely huge. Note you have to pay for parking
The food here is absolutely delicious! Such a treat. The most tasty lunch I can remember eating out - ever. Fish n chips with mushy peas, but like none I've ever tasted before! Give it a go, you will be amazed at how delicious the food is. Such a lovely spot to eat too overlooking the canal.
A delightful cafe on the Kennet and Avon canal and the perfect place for a pitstop. Hot drinks and fresh cakes alongside homemade sausage rolls and pasties, plus a range of sandwiches, meals and specials. Plenty of outdoor seating - a great spot to relax by the water.
I was walking along the Kennet and Avon Canal from Bradford on Avon to Bath, enjoying the spring sunshine. When I came across this delightful cafe at Monckton Combe, I had a lovely wedge of coffee and walnut cake, with a cup of my favourite chai latte tea, which was equally good The whole stretch of my walk along the canal was absolutely fantastic seeing all the narrow boats or barges, whichever is the correct definition The railway line to Bath is adjacent to the canal Being largely rural, always ensure that you are physically capable. Lovely spot for coffee and cake for us but they do all sorts of other food too which looked good. Will be back to try it. Maybe for breakfast!
A good stop by if you're going to see the dundas aqueduct. Simple breakfast lunch menu are provided. Lots of choices of ice cream. A very relaxing place to recharge after a long walk.
Such an amazing place to stop by with delicious freshly baked cakes and yummy pastries. A friendly service adds even more value to the experience.
Loved, loved loved this day out...such bloody good fun. Would definitely recommend and will be returning. Really helpful,polite lad too.(sorry,l should have taken your name tall lad on reception) The little boat's appearance could be tidier but l expect it get bashed with huge regularity!! It was clean, comfortable, reliable and being electric great for the environment.
When I stumbled upon Angelfish online, I thought it would be the kind of place that would only be safe for coffee.
