I love this shop, it had 3 floors all full of different clothes. It had so many good sales and loads of bargains, as well as lovely staff.
Please respect your customers by opening more than one till. Staff happily parade about ignoring customers. Overpriced goods of a low standard overseen by incompetent management.
A staff member at the fitting room has an attitude and was extremely rude to me. I only tried out 4 items and when I came back out and “said I will be taking two items”. She said “put those items you don’t want back onto the hanger and give it back to me”in a commanding tone. (Isn’t it her job? To put to items people have tried out back into place). It was like 6:30 in the evening so there wasn’t like a big queue of people, in fact there wasn’t anyone else waiting behind me. I would’ve happily done what she said if she requested me in a pleasant tone, but no it was said in a condescending manner. Anyway, I’m not a confrontational person so I complied with her unnecessary demand and put those items into hangers. I’m an asian international student so I’m fairly used to the racism and side eyes but still totally ruined my day for sure.
Checked out at approximately 5.30pm 16th October. Brown haired woman cashier serving my friend was extremely rude. As we were checking out she was talking to her coworker the whole time. After paying, my friend made eye contact and thanked her and the cashier completely ignored this and continued talking to her coworker loudly. My friend then turned away and I saw the cashier go to hand her a receipt, which my friend did not see, so the worker very loudly scoffed and rolled her eyes, as though she had not ignored us the entire time we were checking out. I also work in retail and have no problem with workers chatting on shift, however ignoring customers in favour of gossiping with your coworker and then rolling your eyes at a customer who you had been rude to is unacceptable. The standards of service need to be made clearer to this worker.
They sell a great variety of clothing so there's always something for everyone.
I’m a regular customer at UO but I’ve just had such an embarrassing experience. I wanted to change an outfit I was wearing, so I went into this store to find a dress I like then went to pay for it. I then went to ask the staff if I could change into the dress I had just bought from this store, she said yes. I went in got change but the dress was a little too short from the back and I wasn’t sure if I wanted to keep it, this made me hesitant about keeping the dress so I took a while in the changing room trying to adjust the dress so it fits me properly. I then came out the changing room, one of the staff came over to me and I explained to her I have bought this dress already and wanted to change into it, I continued by showing her my receipt as a proof of purchase but she then searched my bag. It was so embarrassing because there was other customer there thinking I have shop lifted! I don’t think it was professionally handled at all as she didn’t apologise going through my bag or explained her reason for her behaviour.
changing rooms are large and spacious with a nice waiting area couch to wait for your significant other. Men’s section is amazing upstairs with available graphic Tees and the two floors down below offer sale items and home decor and woman’s clothing and all hair an bags accessories
Great shop with lots of lovely brands, they sell home wares as well as branded clothes and they even have a wee record store section with selected LPs and record players plus a book section. Lovely staff and cool customers. I’ll be back as they always have different stuff to look at and they do really cool gifts.
Urban outfitters has an amazing range of great and stylish clothes. However its quite expensive the quality is amazing and always have something you want
