Overall, great cafe! If only it had an app to order food to your seat, it would be perfect. Sadly, if you’re meeting friends, then you’ll spend a lot of time in a queue, when you could be catching up. Otherwise, it’s a pleasant experience.

had a breakfast here and it was pretty good over all, nice sausages which is important on a decent breakfast but wasn't impressed with the boiled mushrooms (don't know why cafes still boil mushrooms they should be fried on a breakfast) and don't like how you only get 1 piece of bacon should be 3 rashers minimum especially as its ment to be the large breakfast too but over all it was quite a good quality breakfast

We went on a Friday morning, we don’t live in Bristol but we met my daughter and she suggested going here for breakfast as she does live in Bristol and had heard about it. and we were travelling to London flying to New York. The lady who served us at the till was very helpful and when I asked about gluten free she knew the answers and asked if I was celiac or allergy and noted it on the til. The food arrived and the four of us all loved the breakfast, it is the best breakfast I have ever had. We all said the sausage, the bacon and even the toast were so nice/ the lady who cleared the table asked what we were doing that day and we told her we were going to New York and she was very friendly and chatty with us too. My daughter will definitely go back again with her partner and we will return when we visit them. Amazing food and service.

This place is extremely popular which is why you can’t book in advance. We arrived at about 11 am on a Saturday morning and it was rammed. We waited to be seated at a table near the door which was quite drafty as the door is open almost constantly, with people queueing to get in. The Menu is quite comprehensive but we stuck to the breakfast options. When we were ready I went up to the counter and queued again to give my order. This took a long time with only one till. The lady in the till was also serving slices of cake which she had to cut and plate, which added to the delay. When the food arrived we found our table wasn’t quite big enough for 4 and it got very crowded . Food was reasonably good, nicely cooked and presented.though they only serve smoked Bacon and there are no swaps allowed. It was very noisy inside the venue which was to be expected with so many people but this wasn’t a relaxed Brunch as planned. There is now a covered patio which used to be outside seating where people were sat wrapped up in their coats. Parking was particularly difficult and it might be best to park in the shopping centre opposite and walk through? In summary, this is a good cafe but it is in danger of being a victim of its own success. We won’t be going back on a weekend, it was too busy, too noisy and far too frantic. Perhaps mid week would be better?

Some coworkers took me here for lunch today as I was down from Manchester for a few days. I had the eggs benedict and some fresh orange juice. Absolutely delicious and a lovely atmosphere inside.

Excellent brunch @ Avenue cafe. It was busy on the Sunday we visited (mid-March) with around a 35min wait for food. Friendly staff, good coffee with food cooked to order.

We love coming for lunch at the avenue cafe, such fantastic food, great coffee and amazing service. They are also so very accommodating for my children. My daughter had a smaller chocolate milkshake in a takeaway cup so she didn't spill it. We will definitely be back.

This is a independent cafe place located in a quiet suberb of Bristol. All food is freshly made from the scratch and you can order here the best coffee in the town. I tried many dishes and I never got disappointed. Freshly made cakes and smoothies will satisfy the most sophisticated pallet.
