   Outstanding service, knowledge and prices from Slaters… I bought a suit a week before my work event, picked it up the day before the event - tried on and wasn’t too certain about the fit of the jacket. Called on the day of the event at 8:30am - Peter, store manager, was more than happy to help me out on such short notice. Arrived in store on my lunch break, within 45 minutes my jacket was fully tailored and fitted perfectly. Huge thanks to the team, in particular Peter, for the initial visit and their efforts on the day of my event - providing a quality service which has unfortunately been lost in many other stores. Courteous, respectful and professional. Thanks guys!

   Friendly staff and variety of suits for every occasion. Staff member Callum was nothing short of amazing with his great customer service and help for every little detail. Left it very last minute to get a suit the day before the event and without Callum's help don't think I'd be walking away with one!

   My mum passed away a week ago and today I took my 21 year old bohemian looking son for an appropriate black suit. The Italian sounding salesman offered him only one I’ll fitting black suit in the whole shop which he didn’t like. Ignoring the fact he didn’t like it he explained why the suit was perfect and why he should buy it. My son felt judged and patronised. As a spectator I was in full agreement. I asked to see something else and he brought a grey suit (!) that wasn’t much better. Neither suit fitted well. He didn’t listen. He just told us what he wanted us to buy with little choice. He didn’t offer to show us anything else. It was awful. We went to Charles Tyrwhitt and bought a lovely suit from a lovely salesperson within twenty minutes that fitted beautifully. They also asked the reason for purchasing a black suit then offered condolences.

   We arrived on George St at 12pm on a Sunday and we were back in the car at 12:24pm. Best service ive ever had. Measured, accurately chosen garments, free alteration and ready in a week for pick up. Friendly staff and great prices!

   I flew in from Chicago for a funeral and of course the airline misplaced my luggage, my entire suit with it. I had less than 24 hours to find a solution, and I cannot stress enough how fortunate it was to have had this store and this staff available. The staff was incredibly helpful, understanding, and patient - and despite all odds given my own anxiety over the entire situation, I ended up walking out with a fantastic suit at an incredible price. I really wish I had gotten the names of the people who helped me, but hopefully when they see this review they'll know who they are and know just how relieved and how appreciative of them I am.

   Love this store. I've stopped here since the 80's and they've always got great stock at brilliant prices. Free alterations on clothing for those who require it like me. If you've never been and need anything from casual wear to suits, formal wear or wedding hire you should give it a look, you won't be disappointed.

   Brilliant service, from someone who really doesn't wear suits. Greeted on entry, gave an idea of what I was looking for, quick measure and picked, fitted, shoes, shirt and ties to match. Great fit, not expensive at all. Great experience all round

   Fantastic service from a fantastic set of staff. I've recently been making a much needed update to my wardrobe and purchased 2 suits from this company. Both suits required some alterations to get the fit just right. They got everything absolutely bang on. Can't recommend them enough.

   A shop with a huge selection of menswear. They also have hire services for kilts and wedding suits. Staff on the shop floor are helpful and work hard to find something to suit customer needs. Different suits were bought, but the shirts suggested were the wrong size and did not go with the suits. So will need to make another trip to return them.
