Went there at noon on the 20th December for Lunch, only about 5% full as so early. 1/3rd of tables had reserved on them but had No one sitting on them, so we found a table not reserved. I went up to the Bar to give my order and was asked by the Barman if we had reserved a table to which I said No, he then said we are not serving to walk ins and all we can have is a drink, so with that I told my wife and left for the last time of going there as we always went there everytime time we went to Clevedon.

Difficult to review really! The hotel is a Hungry Horse, so food, as expected. The staff were very helpful but so slow! I queued for at least 15 minutes at the bar while 2 customers were served before me. Tables in the bar and counters were very sticky. The rooms were lovely but could do with a good clean and better lighting. Very dusty headboard and sink needed bleaching.

I just wanted to say a Massive Thank you to all of the staff !! We visited today for a festive menu Christmas meal, the booking was for 43 people !! We were seated in the function room, everything was laid out beautifully and everyone was so welcoming. We had pre ordered meals from the range of choices from the festive menu. The food came out piping hot and was so lovely. There were a couple of blips to be expected with the amount of us but they were quickly rectified and the staff were fantastic through out ! Everyone had an amazing afternoon and we are all now in the Christmas spirit. We will be returning next year !! Thank you all, your hard work was seen and really appreciated today .

No atmosphere, just felt really cold and miserable in there.Food was really disappointing. Husband had lasagne which looked as though someone else had eaten it first. Would not recommend and will definitely not be returning. Even my little granddaughter wanted to leave quickly!

From the moment we arrived, we felt truly welcomed. James greeted us at reception and couldnβt have been more polite, helpful, and genuinely nice β such a great first impression. Our room was spotless, very quiet, and clearly well looked after, which made for a really comfortable stay. When we came down to the pub, the whole team was just as friendly and welcoming. Paul did a fantastic job behind the bar β professional, polite, and really attentive. The food was absolutely delicious, and the portions were enormous! Every bite was worth every penny. Breakfast was just as impressive: generous portions, really tasty, and served by such a polite team. We honestly couldnβt recommend this place highly enough. Everything from the warm welcome to the food and the rooms was spot on. Weβll definitely be back!

Very disappointed in this venue. We stayed as it was close to the airport for an early flight. Decided to try the restaurant. Food was your typical bought in, nothing cooked fresh, frozen, quick chuck on a plate kind of food. Not a chef in the kitchen but a cook. Very poor food and very poor service. They accept Defence discount at 20%.When I produced my military card, the team leader said... not today as its new years eve. What difference does the day make.... if you offer it then honor it. Rooms were outdated and dirty. Room next door was smoking skunk and filled the whole upstairs. The ceiling collapsed in the landing from the rain.... The walls are paper thin and we know that the girl next door was making love to God... as she kept shouting his name. Need I say anymore....

Booked 2 nights here and will not return. Let's start with the hotel upstairs. The rooms were very old tired , dark, and dated and if I'm honest the whole place needs a complete overhaul. The bed was comfortable but I didn't dare have a look at the mattress. The bath tub was stained and had a hair in it and the carpets didn't feel clean The restaurant downstairs was dirty , the tables were sticky and even though most of the staff were friendly all bar boy who refused to serve me alcohol. The staff are all kids in their teens with no experience what so ever. I was sat there all day drinking and spending good money and was polite. I wasn't aggressive nor was I intimidating. I went to the toilet and when I came back I went to the wrong table. Then there were two members of staff just finishing off their food and I asked where was my drink but in a friendly way. They then said I was on the next table and my drink was still there. Easy mistake this can happen. I went to order another drink and was told by the young girl I'm sorry this will be your last drink. when I questioned this she said I'm sorry and pointed at the young kid behind the bar and said it was his decision. Naturally I question and argued and got nowhere. The supposed manager came out her name was Chloe another kid who reaffirmed that neither was I rude threatening or intimidating but it was his decision and that tomorrow was another day. No problem I left and never went back. I would of had dinner and stayed on spending more money but they lost my business and the next day i ordered Dominoes delivery so they lost out. This is what happens when you let kids run the show.

As expected from a hungry horse. Good priced drinks and food with large menu. Toilets were a bit battered and tired but otherwise happy with our visits here. There is soft play for children and areas to eat near the soft play. Pool table and screens for sports also available and a large car park.
