Visited since we were staying in the area. Food was very bland, but eatable. However, I genuinely felt for the old guy serving us, presumably the owner. Looks like a broken man, desperately trying to make it work. Would love the local community to give them a visit to boost his enthusiasm I'm sure he once had. On the plue side, the prices are very affordable.

Love this place! We sat and ate inside, the restaurant is so clean and it’s obviously very well cared for. The staff were really friendly and polite, and made my partner something slightly off the menu as he said it was something he liked. The food was excellent and it’s a great price. A really great evening thank you ☺️

Enjoyed a meal at the passage to India for the first time in about 15 yrs, overall experience was fine, the food adequate, service reasonable. My only complaint would be that the decor is rather dated and the lighting a little harsh. There is no liquor licence so you need to bring your own drinks. This is actually good as you could then enjoy a good bottle of wine at a sensible price.

Food was very nice, we shared two mains, rice and garlic naan between two of us after a starter of poppadoms with pickles and that was more than enough. Service was good and the young lady looking after us was attentive and friendly. It was reasonably quiet, but it was only 7pm on a Saturday evening.

Visiting supporter at the Forest Green v Charlron match on 14 Feb 23. Owner/waiter was attentive and service was quick. Food was superbly presented and tastes fresh. Set me up well for that walk up the hill to the stadium!

Spent £32 last night as a valentine's meal and I was so disappointed, the curries had no taste to them at all, the chips were cold and the onion Bhajis were so dry. So dissatisfied as I've ordered from here before and it was much better than this, can't say I will be going again anytime soon.

Always come here, food and service are great and all at a very reasonable price. Building is a bit dated but nice and clean and staff always helpful. They have no drinks licence but it doesn't matter as you can walk next door to the shop and buy a few lagers so it Actually works out cheaper! Been coming here for years and never had a bad experience
