We enjoyed a delightful 10-course menu experience. The service and atmosphere were fantastic, and the staff were doing their best. However, there’s room for improvement, such as waiters placing cutlery on napkins instead of menus. The food was generally good, though some seasonings were slightly salty. I’m a big fan of trying new flavours and I’m always eager to discover interesting dishes. While I didn’t find everything particularly exciting, I’m still considering returning to try other menus. Overall, it was definitely worth a visit.

We visited for the San Sebastián menu. Each course was delicious but I particularly liked the croquettes and frittata. I added an additional course but really didn’t need to as I was absolutely stuffed by the end. Small plates can be surprisingly filling! A great evening out and affordable too.

Came for the "space" experience and we really wanted to like it but the cocktail pairing did not match and the food was ok. They may have been short staffed because the server kept leaving the wine bottle at the table after introducing the wine pairing before moving to the next table with the same spiel. The food was on theme but it was way too much creativity that needed editing. One course had 12 garnishments!

Review is for the space menu, aperitif and surprise course for £35- For the price I highly recommend! It’s easy to spend £30-40 on dinner in downtown Edinburgh, so you might as well do it in style! It is not a Michelin experience, but they do a very good job at getting as close as possible for the price. Try to come with one of their special deals :) ambiance was great and felt very upscale. The servers were all very very friendly, the service was speedy, we got fun explanations for each wine pairing and each course. Wine pairings were great and good value, definitely recommend for £30. Overall so fun and many yummy dishes, and didn’t feel rushed. They really try to surprise and delight you. I read some recommendations which say the portions are too small, I disagree with this. I was very stuffed when the desert course came (in combo with wine pairings). Some more detailed review on food quality for the corporate head who decides the menus, guessing this has nothing to do with the chefs at this branch as the food looks exactly like the promos for their London branch and was executed technically very well: - Surprise course was soooo fun in concept but too much gel-ing agent was used (maybe agar?) a bit gummy and not enough flavor. Great presentation! - gorgeous oyster course, perfect! -terrine could have been thinner in my opinion but very fun and flavorful course - folks at my table loved the potato, sauce was great. Due to egg it wasn’t a stand out for me - risotto course was yum and wine paired well - flat iron for me was best savory course of the evening, every element was so delish! Truly impressive course. Perfectly cooked meat, sauces were varied and delish -dessert was hands down best course, soooo gorgeous, perfect wine, no notes. My only sadness was not having enough room to finish the whole thing

A perfect Sunday afternoon and the most amazing Sunday lunch with a beautiful glass of red. Everything was delicious, the service was warm, friendly and detailed. We enjoyed it so much, we returned to try the Festive Roast menu which didn’t disappoint. Artfully presented, a superb mix of flavours and amazingly fresh. Great service once again. Returned yesterday evening to try the Trust menu. Great fun guessing the flavours and we opted for the wine pairing (which was epic) and had the aperitif and snacks to start. A truly decadent and wonderful Monday evening treat. Back again today (June 26th) to try the New Orleans menu. Absolutely amazing - both food and service. As ever, beautifully cooked and presented, incredibly knowledgeable staff, mouth-watering flavours and cracking creativity. We had a fantastic time trying the Mad Hatters Tea Party inspired experience last night (1 August). I paired mine with cocktails and my partner had the wine pairing. Top notch from start to finish. Fresh, challenging and original flavours, beautifully finished and served with flair. Cannot recommend highly enough.

I had the Hanoi menu. There were some Asian ingredients in them but not necessarily an accurate interpretation of Vietnamese flavours. It was not a good start when the first foam dish spilled out of their white soup plate, giving the presentation just a mediocre benchmark. Fresh coriander was served with strong, long stems and were a bit chewy and I just swallowed those in, not feeling good. Fish was tender and the best dish (small portion though) out of the six courses. Chicken was not tender and the hot chicken breast fillet was served together with a cold shredded chicken leg salad. Personally, I found this hot and cold chicken combination not quite convincing in terms of either Vietnamese or British food interpretation. The meal was a bit let down by the services, too. I was frequently asked about how I liked the food. Even after I replied it was just alright, I was not asked why. Instead, the waitress kept asking what was my favourite dish, etc. It seemed the conversation was quite mechanical, as a protocol to engage with customers only. 6 courses were brought to the table by, I think, four or five different people. The portion was a bit too small for me, so I ordered a hot chocolate in the end hoping to feel more satisfying in the stomach. The server did not know if they could serve hot chocolate (but hot chocolate was obviously on their drinks menu). He politely replied that he needed to check. It only occurred to me that the restaurant was not professionally run. Location was great. Acoustics was poor with too many unnecessarily hard surfaces for the small cozy type of restaurant they were trying to portray. Next door was a pub with heavy music that caused vibrations for the full duration of the dinner.

This was one of the best dinners Ive had. Every single dish was amazing. We took the wine pairing option, which was ok but not mind blowing and ended up not being able to drink all the wines. Would still give 5 stars for the food itself, as it’s largely sufficient to make this place incredible. The staff was also extremely lovely, and on top of that we didn’t even find it to be expensive considering how fine were the dishes. A must try for sure.

Came here for our anniversary lunch. We planned to go last year but our reservation got cancelled in the end due to covid restrictions and we didn’t manage to reschedule until this month. The wait was definitely worth it. The Hollywood concept menu was really fun and we really enjoyed the food and drinks. Can’t wait for our next time.

Amazing venue. The food was innovative and exciting. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Service was quick and seamless. Didn't have to wait long between courses. I will definitely be back, just wished there was one nearer, but it made it a great day out. Wonderful!

They do really interesting themed 6 course meals with wine pairing. Was here for the “Once Upon A Time” experience! And indeed it was magical and a lot of thought was put into the whole experience. Each dish was exquisite and flavourful. Everything was freshly prepared and cooked to perfection! They even had a really nice menu coupled with some recipes that were given to us to take home with!
