My 19-year-old son travelled from Dundee specifically for your Hogmanay event, paying £30 for a ticket in advance. After queuing, your bouncer refused him entry because he only had his Young Scot card as ID - despite this being a valid form of identification and despite him being of legal age. Meanwhile, ALL of his friends were allowed in, leaving him completely alone in Edinburgh - a city he doesn’t know - on the busiest night of the year. He spent hours wandering the streets trying to find somewhere safe to wait. As parents, we were terrified when he called. Anything could have happened to him. We had to immediately drive from Dundee to Edinburgh to collect him (fortunately we hadn’t been drinking). This isn’t just poor customer service - it’s a genuine safety issue. Your staff separated a young person from their group and left them vulnerable in an unfamiliar city on Hogmanay. Do your door staff not consider the consequences of their decisions? At the very least, you owe my son a £30 refund for a service he paid for but was arbitrarily denied. I’m warning other parents: think twice before letting your young people attend this venue. Also to add we have been trying to call to speak to someone and it’s consistently going onto answer machine. Very poor service. Quick enough to take money though!

I visited Three Sisters to watch a rugby game, and the experience was fantastic. The outdoor setup was impressive—spacious, well-organized, and designed for convenience. The open area allowed for easy movement, and ordering food or drinks was quick and hassle-free. The highlight of the outdoor space was the massive screen, ensuring a great viewing experience from almost any angle. Inside, the atmosphere was even better. The seating was well thought out, with booths accommodating groups of four, six, or even more, each equipped with its own TV screen. This setup created a more intimate and immersive viewing experience while still maintaining the lively pub atmosphere. Overall, Three Sisters is an excellent venue for watching sports, socializing, and enjoying great food and drinks. Highly recommended!

The Three Sisters is a fantastic venue! Everytime I’m in Edinburgh I come here for their festival shows. Unfortunately I made the mistake this year of eating from the street food truck parked in the outside area. Disgusting Royal burger for £12.50. I asked for mayo - sorry, we do t have any. Had to go back and ask for a fork for the dirty chips. Then had to go back and ask for a serviette. The two young people running this truck couldn’t care less. I took one bite and returned to tell him the burger was disgusting and inedible (burnt, charcoaled, rubbery…I’m guessing reheated). All he and the Asian cook did was shrug. They watched me bin it but did t care that I’d paid good money for food that was way below standard. A chicken burger shouldn’t be difficult to master!! Such a shame when places like this don’t care about robbing the tourists.

We stopped in on our way back from the Royal Mile. The atmosphere was fun and upbeat. We both ordered nachos which were cold and soggy when they made it to our table (I would not recommend them). Our drinks were tasty.

Very nice people specially the security guard. They are very reasonable and friendly. Not like in rude guard from Ireland pubs. The ambiance is not bad and DJ are very good. Specially on nights. I think it is running until 3 am

3 sisters is a great venue, I don't know anywhere else in Edinburgh with that good of an outdoor screen.. Maybe the peer tree. The outdoor bars are conveniently placed. Lots of room even if you go indoors. Crowds are young and old alike even at busy times. Prepare for the queue if you come at a very busy time.

Great bars and fast service by friendly staff. Can be busy at the weekends. When staying at Stay Central your pass means you don't queue to get in. Indoor and outdoor seating areas. Big screens for watching sport. Tables can be booked in advance.

Loved the place! It has basically a big screen to watch sports, close to that open roof dance floor, inside sit-out and one amazing live show hall, then on the first floor DJ!! So loved the space and music, but the music speakers need improvement!!

Kinda unique sports with small screens for each table. Has both indoor and outdoor seating area. Good selection of drinks. Food was okay (I tried hot dog - see the photo). Service was kinda hit or miss.
