Stopped in here for a quick coffee whilst on the road. Ignored by first barista, then served up a ludicrously expensive Americano that both smelled and tasted like a homeless man's foot. Do not recommend.

Leighton made my daughter the best drink i think I've ever seen made. Attention to detail was absolutely perfect. You need to recognise and reward your staff for stuff like this !!!!

We were made to feel so welcome and so valued during a visit here today (21 Nov around 1:30pm). I wish I had noted the lad's name who was working, he was just so kind and genuinely interested in us. He made a good coffee but also gave us a really nice memory of human connection in a brief stop for a toilet break and a coffee. Thanks! I hope he can get some recognition from management for going beyond what is expected.

There is a culture in this particular branch of blocking off nearly all the tables well before closing time, presumably in order to expedite the staff's cleaning ties prior to closing. Today I arrived at 1645 and 90% of the tables were blocked off. The advertised closing time is 1800. I was served a sit-in coffee, but it was very clear that the staff were overly keen to close. This is not a one-off occasion. I use the branch fairly regularly and this approach and attitude is always prevalent in the late afternoon. I feel that this needs to be addressed by senior management from a higher level. The attached photo was taken at 1701 on 29th April 2025.

Coffee was fine, only gripe was being asked if I wanted milk with my Americano. The millionaires shortcake was a wee bit too sweet for me, however the roll in sausage was tasty.

Only Starbucks I've ever been to that is not dog friendly. The seats are few and not comfortable like other starbucks. Staff were friendly and apologetic that it's not like an ordinary Starbucks because it's a franchise. Not sure who owns it but there is a Costa (cheaper and better coffee) a mile or so down the road and another Starbucks in the other direction that is not a franchise and so does allow dogs Otherwise it's a Starbucks like any other. Overpriced mediocre coffee. The parking is not great and there were alot of vans etc in the carpark that made it difficult to get a space because they don't have many. Some cars were coming through Arnold Clark next door others from the garage on the other side so for the limited spaces they have very busy.
