    For the month of September at least 30 percent of my visits I've had to ask staff to refill the milk or beans in the coffee machines and now they are just out of order entirely. Staff need to check machines hourly and make sure supplies are ordered and machines maintained when they are one of the main sources of hot drinks in the building. Range of food decent, stock levels variable but often empty sections. Staff good at jumping on tills. Rarely are all the self service tills working/available.

    This is quite simply the worst M&S I ever been to: coffee machines out of service at the busiest times, self-service tills frequently out of service, overpriced food and limited selection. It gets 2 stars instead of 1 because the of the opening hours, staff are ok and it is just one of a bad bunch of cafeterias in the main building that are not fit for the demand. But my advice is to stay well clear.

    Have been visiting my wife in hospital for 2 days and on every occasion I visit to buy coffee both machines are not working. Staff fill shelves knowing machine is broken but blatantly ignore the issue. M&S must be loosing lots of money from this inconvenience!! There is also nobody to manage self serve checkout It is almost as if shop is operating without any staff

    Shocking. Working at the hospital it is a ripped off. Bakery over price, small tiny almond croissant 3.20£ in the canteen 1.20.for staff or 1.60 for not staff, no much selection of bakery anymore. Small pot of oat yogurt almost 4£ ...most of food doesnt help lunchs. They bring new food choice and only last a few weeks. No the same lunch foods as.thenother stores. Most food seems they come from other stores that have not been sold out. Avoid it as much as possible.

    This store opens 24 hours between Tuesday to Friday. Located in Edinburgh Royal Infirmary. 4 Self Checkouts and 4 staff checkouts. Bakery section is quite great. Generally store keeps their shelves full. Small and convenient store. Only 1 member available during night. Have small single ice cream freezer. 2 coffee machines. Sells flowers, green veg, fruits, milk, ready meals, fizzy drinks etc. Does not sell Alcohol, Tobacco and Lottery. CCTV in operation. This store is on ground floor and accessible by all including disabled and wheelchair users.

    I worked here for a few months and the manager is horrible. Never said my name properly once the whole time I worked there and he is rude to all his staff. No wonder they are always understaffed!

    Good store Clean Professional set up Staff is cordial The choices are wide There are meal deals at 4.25£ Lots of choices to drink or eat Definitely worth a visit to look out for options It's at the tail end of the hospital But if you come from the car park it's at the very beginning

    Staff have a terrible attitude here. Death stares all round. After queuing patiently for a till I got asked why I didn’t use the self service. Well sorry for inconveniencing you. As I explained I was unsure about the meal deal and rightly so as she attempted to charge me more! Jeezo, just as well the food is good and I had little other choice. Poor show.

    Nothing special like most places in the hospitals so expensive and they used to have way more places in the hospital now they is only a few places so in results in the few shops no they can now charge more Bec people have less choice

    An good selection packed into a small space. Freshly baked goods excellent as always. I’m trying not to review the products, you know what you’re getting with this shop. Only downside is the till area is unusual and the staff were a little annoyed/impatient because it was near closing time.
