   Over the years I’ve bought many high quality items from the Cotswold Kingston store, including hiking boots DofE backpacks and kit, walking trousers and top quality socks. The staff are adept at giving expert advice on the relative merits of the range of products offered. Today, I had a problem. I needed to return a pair of Salomon’s shoes I’d bought as a gift. The recipient loved the shoes but wanted a different colour which I’d then ordered from the online store. When I came to do the return the store manager, Parissa, explained there were two issues which she explained clearly to me and which I accepted as the case. Parissa was nevertheless able to help me out and authorise the return and refund. This was a case of store policy versus customer happiness and Parissa prioritised the latter so that Cotswold’s Kingston now has one very happy customer. I look forward to making many future purchases from the store and from the company. Thank you!

   I have been in the Kingston branch over the years and it's usually been very good. Today Intending to buy a waterproof jacket and a few other bits.... However this occasion was very disappointing, the young lad was at the till, I asked about water bottle filters..without looking up or making any effort to communicate said "around the corner" I also was looking for some boot treatment..of which there are a few in store and needed advice which would be best..Couldn't find anyone in the boot section and upstairs...so asked the lad at the till if he was the only one in the store..again without looking up and a sarcastic tone "apparently" was his one word answer...For a shop that charges top dollar on outdoors gear the service was non existent ...i just walked out..a real shame.

   Excellent advice and help from Kenzie on buying a decent backpacking sack and helping to get the fit right. We ended up with a super light osprey exos pro. Kenzie clearly does a lot of hiking and knows what she is talking about. I do a lot of long distance hiking and it's nice to meet someone who gets it. Thank you!

   I visited Cotswold Outdoor in Kingston earlier today and the customer service and experience was excellent. I needed a pair of walking boots/trainers and some walking socks and I would like to recommend and thank Konstantinos for his thoughtful time and his polite, considerate assistance. Konstantinos' helpful advice and customer service was exceptional and my experience at Cotswold Outdoor today was memorable, positive and productive. The shop carries a great range and stock of outdoor clothing, accessories and supplies, along with camping equipment and other outdoor items.

   My partner and I went for a shoe fit, we were helped by Sam who was really nice and knowledgable. He filmed our legs while running on the treadmill and then explained afterwards what our feet were doing once they hit the ground and which shoes would be best for each of us, my left foot was twisting slightly outwards on the first run. It made a huge difference when I ran on the treadmill again with the pair of shoes that Sam recommended me to try. I would highly recommend coming to this store and ask for Sam if you are a keen runner and need a new pair of shoes.

   I recently bought a pair of climbing shoes from here - I couldn't be happier with the service and impartial advice that I received. Although the range is not as extensive as online specialists, being able to try a few pairs and discuss with the staff I came out with the perfect pair for me. Highly recommend!

   Superb attention to detail, kindness and genuine interest from Tom in Kingston upon Thames store today !! Please please pass my thanks and praise to his manager (who was also brilliant on a recent Saturday when I had a range of queries) The customer service I have experienced in this store in the past 3 visits is the sort of customer experience that will drive me back into physical stores rather than online. I have bought a range of items online from Cotswold and I have been very happy, but my face to face interactions and the service I received was something else ! Thank you Cotswold Kingston.    An absolute scam, I bought a pair of keens walking boots wore them around the house like they suggested and then wore them to and from a shop that’s 5 mins away from my home. Found the shoes hurt when I wore them to the shop so 2 weeks after buying them I’ve traveled nearly 45 minute back to the store to return these shoes and in a instant they claim I can’t get a refund due to me wearing them once as it voids their returns policy that they never told us when we bought them. An absolute scam, so I now have a £120 pair of shoes that I can wear
