Lovely cosy spot to snuggle into for drinks / bites before dinner...or for dinner itself (we did the former but the menu looked lovely!). We were greeted so warmly by Mrtyle and Eve who talked us through the things we were interested in, and gave us such a lovely experience. I tucked into the non alcoholic options many of which are homemade with ferments and tinctures. My husband tried a polish orange and an English white, he loved both! The place is filled with friends catching up, and the ambience is super calm and relaxing music. Highly recommend for those visiting Edinburgh.

We stopped in spontaneously to escape the rain and were lucky to get a seat. It seems to be a very popular spot, and itβs easy to see why. We received great wine recommendations and enjoyed some delicious food. The salami and homemade gnocchi were especially excellent.

This wine bar missed the mark for me. The list is packed with natural wines, which may suit some tastes but felt a bit inaccessible. What really let it down, though, was the atmosphere β all you can smell is food being cooked in the central bar on what seemed like a camping stove, and the whole place just stank, with no ventilation. Not the kind of setting you want when youβre out for a glass of wine. Not least, if id paid Β£60 for their tasting course id be even more disappointed at the primitive cooking.

Stellar experience. First the wine was very refreshing and simply delicious. The selection and pairings with the food was perfect. Then the food itself was delicate, diverse and sometimes even complex, but always with pleasure and taste as the center. The chef is very skilled, and the whole crew makes for the best hosts. I recommend fully

Spry is a hidden gem of a wine bar and bottle shop in the heart of the Leith. Specializing in naturally made wines, this spot is a must-visit for any wine connoisseur. The menu is an ever-changing selection of locally sourced and seasonal dishes, offering a unique dining experience that never gets old. The wine list is impressive, featuring a vast selection of reds, whites and oranges that perfectly complement the menu. With its warm and inviting atmosphere and attentive service, Spry is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy a delicious meal and a glass of wine with friends.

Had a beautiful evening meal, we did the tasting with the accompanying wines. The staff were knowledgeable and just really nice. The food was interesting as well as delicious and the wines were a good balance of challenging and classic. We liked it so much we went to their coffee shop for breakfast the next morning, it was also delicious. If we lived in Edinburgh we'd be there every weekend. A lovely spot.

Had a lovely afternoon at Spry Wines, a great space with lovely service. Really enjoyed the selection of dishes on the a la carte menu, as well as some great wines and in-house soft drinks for my partner. Highlights of the menu have been picture below:

Beautiful spot for unique wines. Staff so wonderful and attentive with plenty of suggestions if you are struggling to chose. Small plates very good too. Loved the communal feel of the central bar. Will be back
